Then I don’t know what’s the hold up. It’s ridiculous at this point.
I dont think you understand Blizzard. If they could get away with it the game would be down everyday to fix something. This is an old game and they are not on the cutting edge of anything, there is no excuse to have so many issues and bugs with this expansion.

Or Vanilla or BC… when maintenance used to take days occasionally and be unstable for weeks after a major patch. Because the early game was much much worse than this.

Wow has always had Scheduled Maint on Tues, although some Tuesdays they canceled it.
WoW has also had Maint when NEEDED since the game started. Some weeks the game would be down 12 hours a day multiple days of the week. Vanilla, BC, Wrath, etc.
The alternative is that they don’t fix bugs that impact a large portion of the player base.
Seeing as that is a bad idea, Blizzard has always taken the game down as needed to fix things. Scheduled means they were able to tell us about it ahead of time, which they did in this case so people could plan.

Given the recent trashy treatment QA people are dealing with in the gaming industry. I’d imagine even forum hiccups like this are being a result of that kinda attitude.

Except all the new staff, right? You remember that they let go of a lot of managers and senior developers recently, right?
No one is complaining about Tuesday, it’s the off days. What bugs are affecting a large portion of the player base, because there’s no releases notes for these minor patches, pretty sure you’re just making that up.

That’s not the only thing: People are having items they’ve purchsed thru the post dissappear from their appearance/tmog collections and the mount reward for last month is not working properly.

Trust me my nakedness on the forums is not a choice.
I got fed up changing outfits when I logged in and logged out lol. I’ll throw my dignity out the window briefly to save some gold.
This week? Trading post I think. They posted about it yesterday and said they were working on a fix.

Yes, and why did wow decided to have one day of scheduled maintenance planned EVERY week? To avoid having to take the game down randomly throughout the week. They have lost sight of this goal.

Also might have something to do with the fact that changing servers when you have 2 accounts open gives you a “We cannot log you in with the information you entered” error 100% of the time. Or maybe they just want players to stop playing on multiple realms, and are going to return wow to a “play only with other characters on your own server and screw those stuck on a dead realm” model.

There have been complaints. It’s pretty annoying for those who do.
They do more harm than good on Tuesday. It seems like every Tuesday they put something into the game that needs to be fixed by Thursday.
