I just played 4 Korracks revenge matches in a row on Horde with my Warlock and won 3 of them. After that I decided to play 3 more on this character to try and level him.
In all 3 matches there was never more than 2 Alliance players in the top 15 in terms of DPS.
NOT. MORE. THAN. 2. IN. THE. TOP. 15.
How in the world is one side of the playerbase so effortlessly good at PvP while the other can’t find its butt with both hands when it comes to PvP?
All the alliance players who care about pvp probably pvp on other games that are meant for pvp. Alliance players seem to just be ahead of the curve on not giving a crap about wow’s boring azz pvp lmao
It is a multitude of factors but probably the biggest is that the majority of players that care about PVP and PVE have long since switched to horde due to a domino effect that blizzard failed to address.
That’s key focus on objectives, be ready to defend key points. Expect to be attack at the objective tower and grave yards.
Don’t lightly defend, it will require more then a hand full to cap.
Seen just 3-4 players defending and surprise overwhelmed.
PVP is highly competitive, and most (not all) of the highly competitive WoW players have gravitated over to the Horde by this point as has been discussed many times here. Also, Alliance is probably heavier on PVE-only players who joined AV just for the event mount or easy XP.
I just don’t care about pvp, I’m in Korracks revenge for the exp, I don’t care if i win or lose. My ques are 1 min so the more games i get in the faster I’m at 120.
I keep seeing this. What makes it Horde favored? Genuinely curious. I know there’s at least 3 different ways into Frostwolf keep that anyone that knows how to press spacebar can use. That’s the biggest difference between Alli and Horde I’ve seen, but I haven’t paid close attention.
Horde gets to SHB before alliance even gets to mid.
Horde is funneled to the objectives in a row, and so stays in a zerg/deathball, Alliance path divides people, and so they become more and more split up.
When you die as horde early on, you can still get back to the zerg, if you die early on as alliance you are screwed by the IWB chokepoint.
Pretty much this. The starting up closer to the center of the map is the biggest downside. People can argue all day about the towers, hopping in and out of the bases. Just getting to somewhere quicker is a big enough advantage as is. If horde started out on a latitude right around FWGY (maybe a bit more south) it would feel ok.
Probably because we get a lot of players like you that for some reason don’t understand the game when they play Alliance and join with a quitter attitude.
You then log on your Horde and suddenly you know how to play and you’re a team player.
So now that I’ve answered your obvious question, I have one of my own.
Why do Horde Merc que and then join Alliance only to begin crying and encouraging players to give up?
It also doesn’t help that Alliance has quick queues, so losing doesn’t impact them as much as it does when one plays Horde. The Alliance don’t have the incentive to win like Horde does for experience and leveling, which is what almost everyone is doing in Korrak’s AV these days.
