However you are right, this thread is about saving WoW by charging people for TBC expansion. Does anyone have Bobby’s number? I want to give him ideas. Maybe I can help save him more money.

They could sell standard issue copies of TBC and then sell collector edition copies for $120.

Activision-Blizzard has a net worth of 20 billion dollars. If you think this would be true, then Shadowlands would be an amazing masterpiece, Warcraft 3 reforged would’ve been awesome and pretty much everything else.

But this has never been the case ever.

If it did so well then why are they making TBC Classic?

Because to Blizzard, there’s an untapped market for older expansions that people want to try out. If classic didn’t do well, then we wouldn’t have TBC classic now would we? Blizzard would be sitting here saying “You think you do, but you don’t” and having one of their guys get on his webcam with his cat to do his usual non apologies without saying anything while at the same time claim responsibility of the actions they take, but proceed to never do that if Classic didn’t do well.

Of coarse, you actually think this is the reality we live in…

Good MMOs that are successful don’t have to make expansions because there’s no reason to add anything extra to something that is already good.
