In a game of stupid interactions like magic effects not being purge able, cloak not removing magic effects or unholy arms gripping while stealthed, why is it blizzard feels it necessary for me to expose myself to this in order to be competitive for the parts of the game i enjoy? i can full clear the raid and get maybe one piece of gear, i can time 6m+ and get nothing, why is pvp the best way to gear for pve? you want some sweet weapons? cool, best ones in the game come from M Dynathrius and HIGH END PVP go figure. At some point you’d think you’d realize M+ is a much bigger part of the game than you choose to recognize

Its almost like blizz listened to the player base, gave us back pvp vendors, and then reduced the amount of loot pve gave too much just because they were forced remove the rng festival that was titanforging.
PvP is the best gearing method because everything else was nerfed hard.

Just be grateful it’s as easy to get as it is.
They could of easily halved all honor gains and put it in line with mythic+ and raid.

Im all for more drops in Mythic but they would need to drop the ilvl of Mythic gear to that of unrated

I personally think it’s appropriate. I mean, I’ve never done PvP and I think it’s a complete garbage trashfire, but I’m willing to admit that high-end PvP is close to or as hard as mythic raiding. So I don’t mind that very skilled PvPers get geared with high ilvl Verse-X gear

It’s the easiest way to boost your item level, but Versatility is far from the best stat for most specs in PvE.

so you are saying full time pvpers should have crap gear only, and then put up with 10 times better geared pvers that come to bgs to troll the pvpers.

They got rid of titanforging AND they nerfed the loot drops for PvE.
Like the two are somehow inseperable? Seriously?
They also make it sound like conquest gear is easy to get. It ain’t.
You see yourself on wintergrasp attacking and even the most optimistic people are going yeah…I probably ain’t getting my conquest points here.
See for the non pvp crowd…we only get conquest points in wins. If you run 8 BGS and only win 1 you only get the conquest on that 1 win.
Honor points we do get in losses. That gear currently only goes to 184. BUt you still want the win for the bonus honor points. So even leechers get motivated to at least try to for the win.

That’s uh, not a good thing.
PvPers were told endlessly throughout BFA that we should be forced to play the whole game if we want to be competitive, not focus on a minigame. I don’t think anyone is going to shed a tear over the shoe being on the other foot.

Nah it’s totally fine. I also forgot to mention Demon Hunters being nerfed in this expansion too.
I’d rather PvP for my gear instead of keyboard turning in mythic+ with some dude who’ll probably leave halfway through.

Now we have to nerf PvP gearing to be line with PvE gearing.
This whole nerf culture leads to a very bad cycle.
you want 5man dungeon gear to beat high-end raiding and PVP gear? that’s entry-level content, brosky.

It was also nice that blizzard worked out that pvp was also a large portion of the game and gave us rewards for it

PvP is all I have mostly. I await Tuesday patch resets for next story on 3 chars. Broker dungeon quest resets. Not even sure if LFR gets new wing…if so 2 runs there on each side’s main.
2 to 3 days depending on time/mood. PVP fills in gaps for me. Grand goal is cap the honor, hope I get wins for conquest points. Honor capped the plan for when we can upgrade gear next week beyond 184.
Not having this and no legion mythic spamming…yeah sub paying looks less likely.
