Maybe that’s the case. I never see these people though. Worth a shot, though. Thanks!
Players already complain about pay 2 win here, you want to add more? No thanks.
I’ll look into it when the game is done with maintenance.
Also, make sure to use the perception phials. There are tons of camouflaged nodes that you can’t see otherwise!
this isn’t wowhead live, wowhead would lock this post from comments as they refuse to take any criticism of their avalanche of SEO-geared content creation and continued sponsorship of problematic content creators.
remember, you’ll get no negative feedback if you censor your end-users!
I made almost 500k just leveling my gathering drood from 70 to 80 on herbs and minerals. Took a couple of days and that amount would keep the average gamer flush all expac. I’ve made another 100k or so selling leather as I farm the bee mount currency. I get that you want to get gold from raid logging or doing keys, but less than a week of grinding and AH will more than fund the year+ we’ll be in TWW.
Great tip. Thanks!
As I see it, it makes no sense (largely) trying to sell dungeon or pvp gear as said players will find the same gear or suitable alternatives on their own, making equivalent gear useless/obsolete. If earning/making gold is your “endgame,” I suggest investing in dailies and WQs that reward hundreds of gold or marketing your production professions to earn gold through commissions!
Yeah, sure. Maybe it would take you all day to do your weekly stuff on a character, but it really only takes around 2 hours at most. The theatre takes 10 min, the machine takes 10 min, the keyflames take 10 min, doing 5 WQ in Azj-Kahet for the pact takes 15 minutes. So, right there I’ve done 4 caches and it only took me 45 minutes. If the weekly is 6 WQ then another 2-3 min and I’m done with that too. Takes 5 minutes to do the world boss, so I could just throw that in as the 6th WQ. So, we’re still under and hour and I could have 5 caches already.
Maybe I need to get 100 titan fragments, I was gonna do 4 delves anyway so that’s an hour to knock out the delves and 100 fragments. Still under 2 hours, and now I’ve gotten 5 caches and done 4 bountiful delves on top. Throughout the week I can spend another 20 minutes to knock out the 3 WQs in a zone to unlock the special assignment and do it.
Only time it ever takes longer is when the weekly pinnacle caches requires 5 dungeons, which is during timewalking weeks. That can take a bit longer pending queue times, but still you can knock out all 5 in around 90 minutes if you play during peak hours. So, even on the outside the longest it takes to do the 4 caches, 4 delves, and the weekly would be 3 hours.
And, that assumes I do all the weekly stuff on every toon. I usually don’t. I’ll do the pact, weekly pinnacle, world boss, and keyflame on every toon. Delves and any dungeon weeklies I really only do on some toons if I feel like it.
Last week I spent right at 14 hours playing WoW for the entire week and knocked out weekly stuff on 5 toons, which included doing dungeons on 3 toons cuz that was the weekly pinnacle, keyflames on every toon, machine on 2 toons, pact on all toons, world boss on all toons, 4 bountifuls on a couple toons I need gear for, special assignment WQs on all toons, and still picked up enough stuff right off the floor to bank 207k on the AH.
So, no…you don’t have to play WoW like a full time job to make enough gold to survive. You just have to actually do something besides stand around in Dornogal the entire time you’re logged waiting in queues for pvp or m+ group finder groups.
I’m not saying your wrong, but your levels of efficiency are not the norm
or how about all those crafted items that you just vendor because it’s useless.
they just want you grinding gold in scarlet monastery…
Your idea is already in many other games, it’s just the WoW community hates change and this is just how it goes now. Try to question it and you get folks trying to mock and insult you lmao. Not a terrible idea but blizzard doesn’t like the double reward aspect. They’d have to make it worthwhile and actually profitable and that’s unlikely to happen.
They have installed other methods of gaining money and they are effective, they also are means of craftable gear that is equal and often better than dungeon gear so I suppose the idea of sellable dungeon loot was never spoken of further. Just be ready for the whining community to find issue with your post, good luck!
If anything valuable is put in an instanced setting it needs to be made bop, thereby rendering it not valuable and this still ultimately leads to it being a sold run. If it is made boe it will be farmed and botted.
you obviously didn’t hear the CEO from nVidia rave about how Elon was able to set up the computer system for xAI.
Businessman selling GPUs talks up people buying his GPUs.
Yes that is the silly narrative the writer of that piece took. Musk is always going to buy the best product for his needs - it is ridiculous to pretend he would be influenced by fake praise. nVidia starts making an inferior product and no amount of buttering up is going to get him to buy their products.
I highly doubt you are just stumbling across 50k gold going out doing stuff without targeting, seems exaggerated.
Doing basic tasks like WQs, weekly caches, etc will more than cover your costs to keep your gear repaired, etc
The problem is that content sucks and isnt fun.
Strangely, this isn’t as effective as it used to be… but it does still save some money. It probably saves more when scaled for larger families though.
You’re thinking about it backwards. Bots and people who grind a lot do those things because they have a high gold per hour.
But realize, many ways people farm get determined by the AH, i.e. stuff other players want to buy in bulk.
