its weird.
10 bgs, not one i was in was a premade on my side.
But The Horde team was a premade 8/10 times.

Simple math. If you are not in a premade, it is more likely that you will face a premade than have a premade on your own team.
To go over this, we need to make some assumptions for the numbers, but the exact values of these numbers don’t really matter as it holds up either way.
Let’s assume that we’re talking about 40v40 epic battlegrounds here.
Let’s also assume that a premade will place 20 players into a match on average.
If your team has a premade on it, that means 20 of the 40 player slots are taken up by members of the premade. This leaves only 20 free slots taken up by PUGs.
If your team does not have a premade on it, that leaves the full 40 slots available for PUGs.
By this math, you are only half as likely to have a premade on your team as to not have a premade. Since there’s 40 slots available in a non-premade match but only 20 slots in a premade match.
To further reduce the chances you have a premade on your team, some premades send in scouts and actively dodge if the enemy team also has a premade.
This increases the chances that you will not have a premade on your own team if the enemy team does have a premade.
This of course does not take into account how many premades are running which would determine how many matches have a premade in it.
But you can change out these numbers for any value and the math would still hold up.
TLDR: You are less likely to be placed into a match that has a premade on your own team than you are to be placed in a match without a premade on your team thanks to Big Math.
First, Horse has a big community for random bg. Its just a big group of player not selected high rating single hand pick even so they still have higher chance to win than a soloque Ally. I wouldnt call it premade. I expect premade with atleast 2100 rating + discord. Thats premade. Second, Ally que is too long. Almost every group of Ally will just que for Horde because of short time que. The good thing is even if you solo que as Ally you still have higher chance to win than you soloque as Horde. Never Merc if you dont have full group as Ally. But once you group which you call premade and win so many game, its get boring and you will go back to solo que with more challenge. The winning feeling is more satisfied.
They go out of their way to dodge each other and get “pug” only games. It’s the only way they can win.
A queue sync premade is any group (NOT PARTY OR RAID for those people who want to rules lawyer it) of players who coordinate to get more than 5 of their group into the same match.
Using Discord, stacking certain specs, or being of a certain rating (random and epic battlegrounds are unrated and have no mmr) are not qualifiers for being a queue sync premade.
I dont know about epic. But in random, I barely see any que sync at all. I play 5-10 Bg a day, I can tell if they are group of 5 or more than 5. Btw its random, its fine to be group of 5. You win some , lose some. Get a group if you want to win.
ITS NOT FINE.
Random bgs with group of 5 is too much. It’s called griefing and its obvious there is dodging involved. There is no way I’m that unlucky all night long.
The majority of the premade groups are players who can’t even win regular bgs, little less rated. Saying they should be 2100 is a bit of a joke. 1400 would be tough enough for them.
o.o
You realize there are players doing premades that have 1,000+ AV wins… right? This is quite literally all these players have.
A group of 5 players in random battlegrounds is fine, if blizzard would change it so there’s also a group of 5 on the other team as well.
Hopefully some of the usuals will read this for context. The OP is not talking about epic BGs.
My other thought is, how does the OP know for a fact the other side is a premade AND his/her side doesn’t have one too?
You do know there’s a premade that is full of only high rated players - I think that’s all they accept. I’m not sure what the point is. But maybe keep the rating shaming for actual rated content?
Premades is the way of the day in current wow, like gold farming bots, you do you… no one cares, Blizz only cares about their pro players and big wigs.
This.
It’s rare people who complain about premades even know how to spot preamdes
“They’re same server”
“You can just tell”
“They gy camped us”
“I lost therefore the other side had a premade and I didn’t”
Are the usual culprits
I know it’s a premade because this type of coordinated play style didn’t happen when I first started playing almost 20 years ago.
It’s a much more recent thing and yes I’m talking about 10 vs 10 bg. Sorry I should have mentioned that.
Please stop making excuses for these premade groups.
We all know they’re a constant grief to the rest of us.
Yes it did. In fact, it was worse because they could just queue as a full raid into WSG.
Since you only queued with your own server, back then you could tell it was a premade when they were all from the same guild.
If anything the premades back then were more coordinated. They’d focus people down and absolutely destroy your team with no chance. They’d all be in voice and made someone Main Assist and everyone else would just have a macro to target what they were targeting.
It was brutal, and every other WSG on my server had a full 10 player Alliance premade in it. To add even more incentive for people to premade, getting Grand Marshal and High Warlord required you to play pretty much 20 hours a day in a premade. It was a guild effort, and PUGs were the farm.
And yes, queue sync premades should be stopped. Making battlegrounds cross faction would put a big dent in them, plus solve many other problems with PvP.
And not all premades are created equal either. There’s going to be casual ones, sweaty ones, etc.
No one should make excuses for them, but also not every coordinated team is a premade. I myself haven’t encountered too many queue sync premades this season so far in random battlegrounds.
Regardless, I answered your question about why your group is never a premade earlier in this thread.
Who? I have never seen one. I also wouldn’t consider 2100 high rated, but to each their own. Of all the people I have inspected from the forums to date, only one had 2.2k xp.
Pretty sure this thread is full of folks who q sync / dodge or are completely blind. I give up. I aint posting here ever again. SMH
Or it’s just people who disagree with you. Not everyone who disagrees with you is “paid”.
Back in Shadowlands when gear power was tied to rating, there were some groups hard stacking 5 man premades with duelist geared players to pubstomp.
Nowadays I don’t think rating is a factor anymore in the formation of premades. It’s mostly just people with a lot of experience playing together.
Thanks ChatGPT
