Basically I’m referencing the fact that I have devoutly paid blizzard over $2500 in JUST subscription fees for one game for one account which has no previous misdemeanors on it.
And I am repaid by being banned by an algorithm which gets its data solely from other players emotions.
If no one reports you, you will never be banned for afking because there is no system looking for afkers only players activating a failsafe.

So its been over 48 hours now since I appealed this suspension and no response… Seems my appeal is just going to end up either automatically responded to or automatically finished.
Blizzard if you don’t have staff to push major patches through and deal with admin tasks at the same time then maybe you shouldn’t be using an automatic banning system days before major patches.
You probably just stood there and didnt move when the recappers came and your teammates noticed.
LOL… is this the reason horde doesnt defend towers anymore? And here I thought my games today were full of alliance alts. Cuz, they never played D.
I miss the scorched earth meta. =(

Blizzard sup told me: only defending is not in the spirit of pvp.
So you have to leave defending a base at some point…
Or just fight on the roads cuz numbers are the only thing that counts for the support

Well my automated ban got an automated response to the ticket at 6am in the morning lol.
Blizzard if I wanted to play with AI I wouldn’t be playing this game.

Even if you weren’t, you likely aren’t contributing at all to winning the BG. “Defending” in green gear, in wow, yeah that’s not a thing.
In this game you get killed by people who aren’t even targeting you if you’re in greens.
You do realise you can get over 8k hp in boe greens from the AH and sit in stealth defending against a geared capper basically forever as a rogue.

So you’re saying in every single BG you did, only one person who can’t comprehend a Rogue, tried capping each and every time, and you stopped them “basically forever”.
I’d put so much money betting on you thinking you’d boost a toon and AFK AVs until you were geared, only to get punished by the system.

No I’m just trying to help you comprehend not everyone in greens is a noob that just falls over when they get whirlwinded. You think horde recap towers with one person? I think you must be the one afking then or you just dont pvp.
Actually almost half my games I died in TP or on the way to TP and switched to holding horde off at alliance archers.
Also I did about two weeks of pvping outside of AV just dailies to try win and get maximum amount of marks then I started AV about 9 days before my suspension. Obviously no one had a problem with me holding a base and calling incs in AB and eots.
But as you pointed out a lot of scum just afking in AV and they probably report people in greens the second the gate opens so that they have a better chance of getting carried.
This is an issue for sure.
As far as I’m aware, Blizzard has always said that suspensions are never automatic. If you were suspended, then an actual Blizzard administrator was involved.
Chat bans/mutes can be automatic, but not suspensions.
