Fix this Blizzard, please.
Either by the good old templates again, the PvP vendors we all need or split the teams into 10-15 ilvl ranges after ilvl 400. It’s stupid fighting an enemy with twice your HP and 2-3x your DPS. I don’t mind waiting longer for more fair games.
It’s even more stupid when the freaking random PvP rewards don’t scale with your ilvl.
Also, getting nothing but honor (which is somehow even more useless than marks of honor) out of specific queue is “awesome” as well.
Mythic plus 5 isn’t a prerequisite though. You can get the same ilvl with benethic gear and/or world quest gear.

I have no issues queueing for BGs without ever touching a Mythic +5. What is preventing you from hitting the “Join battle” button ?
Benthic stops at 425-430 and takes MONTHS to get what you would get in a few weeks or less of mythic+.
It is totally a prerequisite when you get in with 200-250k HP and everyone in the horde is at 360k+.
It’s not nice losing before the game even started.
Meanwhile PvP rewards, when you are lucky enough to get them, are ilvl 395…

Imagine not having ilvl 380+ 5 minutes into level 120.
I cant tell if this is sarcasm because it is literally that easy to achieve that
And yet I see those people quite often. 50-90k HP in BGs.
It’s the same feeling when I join and the enemy team is fully 440+ilvl.
Joining as a dead weight is fun for no one.
It’s not sarcasm. It is easy to achieve 380, because that’s basically the 8.2 floor the catch-up mechanics brings you to.
Then do your 5 minute of content to be 380+.
You are not getting it. 380 does NOTHING.
To be moderately useful in most BGs, you need at least ilvl 420.
That’s how bad it is atm.
It’s more common than you think.
Also, people rocking ilvl 380 gear will still have a great time in PvP… at the graveyard. Just wait for the warlock with 400k health or the assassination rogue to look in your general direction.
If you don’t do the higher difficulties of content you should expect to be outclassed by people who do, you don’t do arenas or raiding or mythic+ so expect to have worse gear than people who do.
That’s so ridiculous.
Yet I see them winning games and getting their conquest same as everyone else.
It’s almost as if there’s scaling and resilience in play… Oh right there is.
I’d expect not to be useless in random BGs.
I’d expect to be pounced like this in rated, not randoms.
With PvP vendors and templates, things were never that extreme.
PvErs shouldn’t have an advantage in PvP when they don’t PvP.
