So I’ve been reading Dragonflight interviews because I’m excited. But then I saw that Khadgar will play a “big” role, and while other characters like Wrathion will play parts at crucial moments, Khadgar will play the biggest role.

Are you kidding me right now? It’s an expansion about dragons, Alexstraza and Wrathion are RIGHT THERE but you still wanna make the old white guy the main protagonist. Again.
I don’t get it. I like Khadgar but I don’t get why some old man is the main character? Like I said, Wrathion is right there. Alexstraza is right there. Kalec is right there. Merithra is right there. Is this some kind of fanservice thing? Because Alexstraza and Wrathion are way more popular than Khadgar will ever be, just saying.
Please change this. Like I’m not even joking Khadgar was the main guy for Legion. Give someone else the honor of main character spotlight for once.
Khadgar is a character who can realistically be seen taking Horde and Alliance characters through an overarching story. While Wrathion and Alezstrasza will be in focused stories, having big dragon business to take care of, we need someone to kick us off.
He will have a “deep connection” towards the dragons, likely because of Kalecgos. As for his role, they just say that it’ll be bigger than other main heroes of the expansion like Wrathion. It’s from a German interview.
tbh I just want this whole stupid GoT/Marvel cast of character stuff to end. It’s not fun, I don’t care about what Thrall or whatever is up to, I want the story to be about stuff that is happening with some minor cameos from mainline characters with our characters as the real focus.
