I was a bit confused that Anduin did nothing to try to heal him. It was like “well that was shadow magic, no use in trying.” Supposedly, I was there as well, since that’s where I started the cinematic. I would have totally wasted mana on trying to rez. My warrior still has the gnomish jumper cables, too. Nothing was done. I’m sure Saurfang didn’t want it, but he can die on someone else’s time, not while a ton of healers are standing around, confused how their spec works all of a sudden.
Imagine being this much of a Sylvanas fanboi that no matter what, you’ll think she never betrayed you and she’s still part of the Horde.
By that logic, Arthas was part of the Alliance while the Lich King. Illidan, part of the Alliance? Khadgar? Cenarius? Azshara?
It may be a mental thing.
Elves are immortal/incredibly long lived. So they are more cautious with magic and more willing to work through slow advancements and not take risks.
Humans are short-lived, and so willing to take more risks, put more power into a spell, or try to make a spell bigger.
It may also depend on the caster themselves. A Combat mage VS a Ritualist.
A Ritualist may be able to perform incredible feats unheard of or incapable of duplication by other casters so long as they have the time to prepare and work out the spell.
Whereas a Combat mage is able to more effective put out spells that can do damage, or protect in a pinch, but would be incapable of performing a complicated ritual.
Seems like that’s partially Jaina’s fault. What was she doing with her flying arcane boat, rigged with all the world’s magic ice cannons? Being edgy and depressive you say? Kinda seems like that thing burned for a few weeks, too. Didn’t want to save it for the night elves?
I don’t see it often but when I do, it seems to be coming from a Horde player.
She didn’t betray the loyalists bud
And I would betray the sick alliance sympathizing horde too
I agree with you.
I think Sylvanus needs to be murdered, but I also think it’s about damn time that the Horde has someone powerful enough to contest the Alliance God Squad.
It also make for some really crappy writing on the Alliance side.
If this were actually written without plot armor, every Horde village/city would be nuked from orbit and the Alliance Gods would just mop everything else up.
But because the only way the horde can survive a true alliance onslaught is to make the Alliance really stupid, it makes the story boring.
I say kill them all off and bring in some new blood that aren’t all powerful so they can be written as intelligent.
“Why is there no horde equivalent”
I dont know man, Sylvannas is wearing some pretty thicc plot armor.
OP is talking about faction leader imbalance. Sylvanas is no longer Horde. She doesn’t count.
All of your kind hasnt abandoned lil ol Sylvy yet. They hold onto hope that she is doing something good in the end and still blindly follow her.
Hugs Jaina Hands off my waifu!
That’s Kul Tiran craftsmanship for ya!
There it is. There goes the little respect you had just earned.
Malfurion isn’t one tier down from jaina, he’s stronger. If i had to guess, I’d say he’s probably the second strongest mortal on azeroth, the strongest being queen azshara.
It had to go sometime… it’s probably better this way.
Its ok because ours are written like idiots.
You were the chosen one Anakin Grymauch!
Huh? Did we forget Slyvanas here ?
Lore wise perhaps but writer balance character wise team rocket could come and Malfurion would already be waiting by the gates to be captured again
