Agreed. It’s like owners of Ferrari 2015 talking to owners of Honda 1998, not related other than both being “cars”, and “games” in our case.

I like to post on whatever avatar I want to look at =). Shouldn’t invalidate my post.

Worry about the contents of the post and not the avatar posting it.

Do you want us to be quarantined to this section of the forum only? Because if retail WoW avatars can’t be used here, it stands to reason that Classic avatars can’t be used elsewhere. I think that’s a silly idea.

You can pay Elon Musk to produce electric cars, but you wouldn’t know anything about making them right? That’s all I meant

Not really, no. I never look at ones avatar when reading a post, because the contents of the post mean more to me than the avatar they choose to post on =).

I can post on this, or I can post on Aloralynne, or my Druid or Priest. It really depends on what avatar I feel like showcasing.

Doesn’t matter if you feel that way. It matters how readers perceive you. Others may doubt your credibility when speaking on a classic subject when not utilizing your classic avatar.

I refer you to my previous post: I played Vanilla and have played Classic. If you choose to “invaildate” my post based on my avatar, and not on the words I use, that’s on YOU, and YOU are the one making the mistake, not me.
