Why is honor capped at 15k

Legit i will be buying my weapon tuesday and having to upgrade it all the way from 200 to 233 will cost a total of 30k honor, unless i win at rng an get it from the vault. ive been honor capped for nearly 2 weeks now, since there is nothing to really spend it on if you saving conquest for weapon. why is it capped to such a small amount when you need so much to upgrade gear, while waiting on conquest to purchase the base lvl stuff.

It keeps people in check, sort of like rating with people’s attitudes

It’s to throttle gear upgrades, obviously. Sure it’s inconvenient, but it’s meant to be. Imagine PvPers running around in full 226 with a 233 weapon before raiders even come close to that kind of gear. We’re already getting there. PvP is already the most rewarding way to gear in the game. If this is all that’s in place to slow us down a bit, I’m cool with that.

You don’t have to upgrade it from 200 to 233 in one sitting.

What you can do is buy a bunch of honor items before server reset. Farm up honor in a half hour then sell them back for honor when upgrading. But a lot of star alignment to pull that off. Easy honor farm needed. Reduced server reset time, etc.

just means after i upgrade with the 15k honor im have to go spam bgs or something to farm another 15k. what i mean is ive been pvping constantly for 2 weeks while honor capped, because you cant spend it on anything since weapons take 4 weeks minimum to get.

You can just go do more arenas with your new 220-226 weapon until you get the honor to upgrade it again.

I know what you mean about sitting on honor cap, but the point is still the same. The cap isn’t there to encourage you to spend it as you get closer to capping. The cap is there to slow down upgrades when you do get gear that you can upgrade.

I’d really just like them to bring back the BoA honor tokens.
