Why is hex still a 30sec cd(base)?

Feel like it should be 15sec baseline with the talent reducing the cd by 15sec similar to what they did with rep talent and sleep walk baseline.

Just a thought.

Maybe because it would make healers that can’t dispell hex non meta.

Because cyclone/sleep walk spam is super annoying? Does feel bad for hex though.

Different type of debuff being a curse, and only a handful of classes can deal w/ a curse.

Hex unlike poly cant be dispelled by all healers

The number of dps specs that can dispel it though is nuts. Druids hard counter it harder than anything else is hard countered ever lol…

rsham is definitely the worst healer right now. By a decent margin. I don’t love spammable healer cc though so I don’t know that spammable hex is the fix. Rep/sleepwalk/cyclone (or even para/chiji/sweep) are all annoying to play vs

You can buff resto shaman without making hex spammable. I see no other reason than hex being a curse. If hex was magical id bet it would have no cd probably.

I don’t think lowering the CD of hex would change rsham’s viability in any way

No CD hex was never taken when it was an option in SL s1/s2 (the 2 SL seasons I played, idk about the others)

The problem isn’t the lack of spammable CC, the problem is the spec that the spammable CC is attached to. It wouldn’t even be strong if it didn’t require a talent point to make it have no CD.

Again you’re kinda missing the point though. Hex being a curse makes it worse most of the time. Druid is one of the most common classes out there (close to pally and hunter?). If there’s a druid on the other team it’s basically unusable. Not to mention mage/sham of any spec.

If it was magical it would actually be more powerful because you could actually cc the enemy healer occasionally. Right now rsham kinda doesn’t have any kind of good cc for the enemy healer. Cap totem is decent but has lots of negatives. Same with lasso and hex.

I’d be kinda down to leave as is if they nerfed other healer cc a bit… Seeing as how they made sleep walk spammable though I don’t see that being the case.

You made mage an afterthought, should be the main thought really.

As there is usually quite a lot of them when they’re really strong

Shammy would need utility nerf if hex was spammable.

With paladins/priests/monks unable to remove it additional to grounding/tremor would feel unbearable.

Ele as well has enough presence to not warrant needing all of its utility, sustained and burst topped off with spammable hex.

How would it make shammy any better than current ret

EWT should be number one on blizz’s list of things to change/fix. It made me try out Rdru lol… I don’t even like Rdru :tired_face:

Oh so, hex being a curse (non dispellable by most healers, only by a few of other classes) makes it worse than it being magic (dispellable by all healers).
