I’m not sure. I’ve never been much of an elf player. I will say that night elves looks cool but other than that I haven’t been obsessed about them like a lot of people on here are.
Now, warhammer/40k elves on the other hand are metal af. They are so different than the ones in this universe. Only thing comparable are the pointy ears and that’s it.
Everyone is obsessed with Elves because Ogres aren’t playable. The tides will turn when Blizzard caves.

Tolkien just based his elves off of Celtic / Norse lore.
