Yes, because it’s so hard to find a group if you’re dps that usually when “lf 3 dps for dungeon x” pops up 10 dps respond in seconds. If you’re not one of the first 3 you don’t get a group. It’s even worse if “need 1m dps for x” pops up. I’ve tried to quest while looking for a group. It never works because I’m just not quick enough while questing to be in the top 3 to respond.

Well its really none of your business but I have spent some time in forum jail. For name straight up name calling though, not ad hominem attacks.
But at least I know who was spamming the report button.
It being added and changing player engagement behavior is the problem I have with it.
Sorry we disagree fundamentally on this topic.
I just don’t think the game benefits holistically with this feature in the game, and I think the game would be better off without it.
My opinion on this isn’t changing cause you wish it were in the game. I’m sorry again.

I just noted that you were by far the nastiest person on the thread imo. Then I saw your posts being removed. Then you disappeared for a few days more than once. When you came back you were much more cautious and careful and your nastiness had lessened quite a bit. You had obviously been chastened by something. I guessed you got a quite deserved forum vacation. But it wasn’t me spamming the report button. I think I’m pretty capable of taking it and dishing it out on my own without anyone’s help.
Name calling is the common term the uneducated use for ad hominem attacks. Most people don’t know the latin term ad hominem.
There is no dishonesty or excessive drama being thrown on it.
People are really upset. You should try to put yourself on someone else’s shoes for once to understand.
People are really upset because these were features that existed in WoTLK and by stating that they want to remove because there is enough appeal and interest on not having it, is a complete bs and yeah, it really upsets people.

Well, I believe that the examples you used were so outrageous as to be at the very least disingenuous BUT in the interest of an honest discussion, do you think the RDF could be pared down (having the incentives to use it removed) to a version that would be palatable?
And yet we got xrealm BGS, merc mode, a perfect platform for RMT, only active communities are GDKP carries, botters and gold sellers, AND to top it all off, boosts provided by BLizzard to grab that extra cash.
All of the things listed above have a much higher impact on the gameplay than RDF.
I was logged in earlier today.
I was hosting a run for SP/UB/SV heroic clear. Jsut back to back.(I Was hosting it!) Took me about 30 minutes to fill in.
In those 2-3 hours I was online today, I haven’t seen a single raid pug that wasn’t a GDKP. I saw only a very handful of heroic runs advertised.
TBC Heroics are very different from Wrath.
In TBC, you gotta CC and kite. Drink mana after every pull. In Wrath, Heroics are like cutting through warm butter. Its there for joy.
I can’t understand how some of yall enjoy using LFGb addon trying to snipe whisper, scrolling up just to read as gdkp spam is insane.
Perhaps, having a guild/friends makes this a much better experience, but for a lot of players such as myself, it really is not enjoyable.
I don’t even care if they take away the bonus rewards and make it heroic lockout. I’m fine with that. Make it realm specifc, but make sure to have all smaller realms connected.
Do you guys not have friends or guilds to do this content with?
