If you’re not globaling someone in Convoke with a 198 Boomkin then there’s obviously other factors to the problem.

Convoke is still broken for high damage spells like Full Moon or Star Surge.

Achievements are global. You can look at my experience. Also, I didn’t imply that at all. A druid with almost no experience is saying he’s amazing. Just calling out the bull as I see it.
It’s really not and that’s why so many people are having an issue with it. Using a major CD isn’t the default response. You first have to evaluate your positioning, the tools you have on hand, etc. If I had to use Turtle EVERYTIME someone used a major offensive, I would lose every game.
The problem here though is Convoke can randomly hit anyone within range. That means anyone can potentially get killed. It’s not an equal trade off if the entire team has to use a major to negate the CDs from only one player.
Again, like the other poster… quit playing the game poorly and trying to push your terrible understanding of arena on everyone else.
The target your killing should NEVER be so close to LOS that you fail to get your convoke off on them. Why would you ever use your strongest ability if it can be so easily negated? It makes no sense… and yet here you are trying to act like that is a useful strat. Quit playing poorly and quit targeting players that can easily avoid your damage.
You realize all 3 of those targets are the most susceptible too dying from convoke? Especially DK and WW. Convoke drops WW through karma and beam completely shuts down DK defensives.
It’s not ultra rare. It’s not even rare. I get one every 2-3 convokes.
This thread has been bumped over and over by everyone but me. There is clearly an issue with the ability. ANY ability that can do enough damage to kill a player in a 1/2 second or less shouldn’t exist in the game.
Also, if you think hunter is fine, you must be playing a different game then I am.

there’s not much difference between .2 and .4/.6, there’s always one in raid with an opening burst 4-5x more than everyone else

So once again, show me your armory. I will not say Convoke isnt op but there are several classes that can smoke you super fast atm. I mean I have been killed in secs from hunters and rogues and I have done the same in a few secs on druid also. But my argument is with you and your .2 sec. Until you show me your great druid that you claim you have so much experience with then I will always feel you are full of it and screaming with the crowd.

So what about the hunters that one shot out of stealth. Convoke is OP but there are a few classes that can destroy you in in seconds but .2 sec is not happening. I think you kids today do not understand how quick .2 sec is.
Holy batman, that’s a really badass covenant ability; the mage ones are absolute crap in comparison to that master piece.

You’re also a 1550 player in Arena so there’s not much evidence you know how PvP actually is, but thank you for your incorrect opinion!
Convoke can kill people in less than half a second which is completely not okay for rated PvP.
