It seems to work, when I report cheaters they get banned and I never see them return. Perhaps it’s just me and I have my own personal GM who follows me everywhere I go and gives these clowns the ban hammer at my request?
its actually possible
You just ban them so it becomes unprofitable.
as I said I could do it in a month, and it would take 3 months of non profit before they moved on.
stop believing their lies , they arnt constantly banning bots, i see the EXACT SAME BOTS, for 6 months.
you assume this draconian system of automation doesn’t also destroy the game, but in a different way.
No you can’t. Why don’t just stop all crime while you’re at it lol.
They are. You can even watch them do it live. pretty sure it happened live on stream the on piratesoftware’s channel yesterday or the day before.
This is because Blizzard has a large financial motivation to allow bots and bot nets to continue operations.
This is obvious and true - Blizzard makes a lot of money off these accounts and I am at the point where I wouldn’t be surprised if certain employees are taking real USD off the top of these gold dealings (as they are in the 100K$+ transfers)
It wasn’t liked for raid by many. It is nice for dungeons. RNG either likes you or hates you.
Its group loot for raid. that has some rules to not allow full ML LC stuff.
But still allows for drama. How does one dude get 3 drops 1 run.
RNG, that is the answer. lol. a 15% drop chance is per event. The dude got lucky 3 events same run.
That’s not till MOP, and was optional iirc. WOD or legion forced group 100% iirc.
Its a two prong issue,
Lack of communication from blizz makes the community feel they aren’t doing anything to counter botting, the community feels they are doing nothing about bots so they either A.) get involved in RMT one way or another or B.) quit playing which causes the community to get worse and worse.
An extreme measure but if you truly want an end to botting you need to create franchise servers with low population caps, those that own the server franchise make players fill out applications which will be vetted for approval vs paying for a sub and having access to any server and establish a clear anti botting policy known to everyone applying to server. Instead of making thousands be able to play on a single server make a cap of no less then 500 and no more than 1000.
that sounds like other games private nodes setups.
it could fix things, or make them worse.
Server admins bill, server admins house. You have the admin making policy. you assume it be strict.
If they want gdkp, it be there. If they like UBRS no key door runs…it be there. If they and if its members play in the area of apparent automation to farm for aq40, there’d be no snitches to even get stitches lol.
If blizzard can’t watch 3 servers, 40+ private nodes won’t happen either.
that make parse wars more fun. Look at mine! and 10 dudes going wait…your node sucks.
and thus begins a string of “no, your node sucks” lines lol.
