I like burning hippy trees actually so my first decree as warchief is to burn all the trees in Astranaar then we BBQ Baine!
At times I wondered if it was still Thrall or if we were getting “Go’el” (the name Thrall’s parents would have given him).
From how I understand it, Baine should only phase into Grommash Hold when you have the quest “Guests at Grommash Hold” and then remain until you do the final Vulpera quest “New Allies Among Us”
Not sure what else could have triggered Baine appearing for ya, other than a weird bull bug.
Liadrin for warchief go paladins go!
Exactly. There’s only one horde racial leader left who isn’t a traitor. Her name is Geya’rah.
Probably one of the most spot-on assessments I’ve seen, well done.
Nice Holy Grail reference. And yeah, all this talk of a warchief is moot. We have a war council now…and we all know how politics works. Now that thet have power, they won’t be willing to go back to the old ways.
My current opinion is that leaders for the different races have become as obsolete as the factions have. There are too many “important” lore characters and because of that, only a small handful at a time get screen time and development and everyone else warms the bench and goes long periods of time with them collecting dust.
What Orc can be:
Leader of the Horde
Leader of the Tauren
Leader of the Alliance
At the same time? none, right? There you go.
Baine >>>> All other Horde leaders.
It’s honestly baffling that they gave it up in the first place. Sure, maybe Vol’jin and Cairne felt like they didn’t have a great bargaining position when they met the orcs, but the Forsaken, blood elves, and Nightborne were all sovereign city-states who were apparently willing to kowtow to the current Warchief without even a token promise to respect their autonomy. And the Zandalari were a full-on empire until they decided they should make themselves subordinate to the Warchief.
Death knight nazgrim for warchief!
I will say, it pretty fun to see with the passage of time, even alliance players missing Garrosh. He was a actually interesting character, unlike wat we have now…
And yeah, the best warchief that has ever lived, no other horde leader managed to get suff done more than him.
I miss our strong warchiefs.
Ripe for factions to dissolve into smaller groups that have no shared interest
That’s because he was an interesting character that we as players got to actually witness his character development in game.
Thrall and Baine are both terrible and should be banished forever
The writers aren’t going to apply a lot of logic behind the faction leader’s decisions. That is not to say someone among them isn’t well versed in the subtleties of political intrigue…it’s just that there would be too much effort involved in keeping the gameplay in pace with it.
He was the best the Horde had. He was the Horde, but you would never understand that!
We wanted to raise the steaks on being Warchief…
Bane shouldn’t be anywhere near our throne room. He been a traitor for a long time lol
