This really limits our ability to express ourselves in game. A very rare spawn vendor that sells a rainbow toy for 250k gold? Why?
Move the toy off this vendor to one that’s much more accessible and lower the price so there isn’t a weird barrier to us expressing ourselves!

Not sure what you want to express that you can’t say out loud, but: it is a gold sink toy. It is really nice when macro’d to your mount, you see it in action a lot.

When you get it, macro it to your movement abilities on all your toons. Softens the blow of paying 250k for a toy 
I mean doesn’t this go for anything expensive or exclusive? There are more ways than expressing yourself than just being gay. I like Brontosauri and love dinosaurs and would like to express that, but they gated that behind 6 million gold

Because excess fun must be penalized. Same reason why toys end up with cooldowns ranging from 30 min to 4 hours.

Couldn’t agree more. I am only 13 years old and was literally not alive during Wrath to gain limited time mounts. This makes WoW age-ist against me and other chonologically deficient folx
I’d argue the cool down is there to either give it a little thought behind when to use it, or more importantly; to prevent everyone everywhere spamming it non-stop. While an entire stormwind full to the brim with people spamming rainbow beams non-stop sounds interesting, it would certainly make it impossible to get anything done/ find your way around.
How so? 250k gold is quite easy to get. Stop buying stuff off the AH

I don’t agree with this argument. It aligns with the “everyone will mog Thunderfury now!” arguments that came up when Thunderfury became transmoggable.
People still buy that spider mount. How much does that cost again? 1 million gold? 2 million?
