Saw someone using the “rainbow trail” toy, it looks super super awesome! I love all things rainbow. BUT that’s a LOT of gold. Will I ever own it? No.
Imagine how awesome pride events could be if this toy, and others like it were available to the majority of people who attend celebration events?
My other issue with it is it says "Shimmer with all of the colors of the rainbow for 20 sec. (20 Min Cooldown) " why such a long CD? Why such a short duration?
Cool/fun effects should be something we could keep on ourselves at all times if we want, like a 1 hour buff with no wait time between reuse.
I want to see more toys actually be fun/able to be used as often as we want without the insane cooldown timers. Another reason even if I had that much gold, I wouldn’t waste it on this toy. The lasting time/CD makes it not worth it. If I could keep it on me at all times, I might at least be tempted to sell a WoWtoken to obtain it.

And yeah it’s not only expensive BUT you have to make sure the gnome is even spawned in order to buy it. You could literally have the gold but be waiting a few days to find him!
I don’t make gold. Don’t do mission tables, or callings, or anything really lol. I pretty much just make enough gold to cover repair costs, tmog costs and haircuts lol.
Didn’t even know it existed and yeah same boat I will never have that much gold because I’m not playing an auction house simulator. I rather play the rest of the game than do that.
The cooldowns should be reduced to near nothing as they are suppose to be toys but they’re treated as more than your own class skills with these insane cooldowns.
The CD is 2 minutes. It was changed sjortly after release back in legion.
The vendor is a gold sink with mounts costing 2 million and a pet for half that price. The toy is one of his cheapest items he has.
The vendor is a rare spawn that lasts one hour (used to disappear after 15 minutes of someone buying an item, but was changed to last full hour after legion) and spawns the same time for regions, so no server hoping. He spawns every 4 hours to 4 days. So finding him is the hard part
You could always go the route of buying a couple wow tokens and doing it that way. I know it sucks but it is an option or if you’re running old content for tmog, take pieces that sell well and list them.
