Why I'm quitting BGs as an Alliance player

  1. Solution to the “So few of us issue” OP has finished her post with:
  • change PvP Battlegrounds queue system to be like LFR, which will not start the Instance (in this case Battleground) until everyone clicked “Accept” on the queue pop
  • give “craven” debuff (1 min can’t queue) to anyone who does not accept BG queue pop to prevent queue-denyqueuepop spam abuse - dungeons could use that 1 minute debuff too

The reason for the “So few of us issue" suggestion 1. is:
When people queue for LFR, the raid never starts until all roles are filled and there is a a full house ready to raid.
When people queue for PvP, the battleground can start with half of the team missing, which not have accepted the queue pop.

So many times I’ve been placed in a battleground like 8v10, 12v15… Starting a game and keeping such a gross lack of people for as little as a couple of minutes is a 95% chance game over, even if twinked out people join to save the day. It just will be too late, “they win with 1 node” kind of late.

I am not asking Blizz to issue a progressively increasing debuff length for people who are not accepting the queue like dota 2 does (just google: 24hr banned for not READY-UP and missing the ACCEPT button…), which would be too ideal for this to be true - this absolutely wonderful idea has been suggested before Although a set 1 minute penalty preventing a player from queueing again for not accepting a queue pop would be just fine - another person next in a queue spot will accept the queue pop during that minute window, throwing the malicious denier to wait for a full house again for half an hour - existing “craven” debuff would do just fine here.

But I am asking to prevent PvP Battlegrounds from starting until everyone confirmed “Accept” on the BG queue pop. Because this is seriously unsettling how having extra couple of people advantage or disadvantage can make or break the game without a chance of comeback

  1. Solution to the “iLevel issue” which is really about twinks:

My suggestion in the other thread addresses this, see my post here: community discussion about twinks
