1.) rating doesnt matter anymore. we all will have equal gear.
2.) no reason to push arena, rbg, or solo shuffle rating unless
youre after the cosmetics.
3.) elite, glad and rank 1 achievements are just that. achievements. no more
gear advantage for hitting those ranks.
4.) lastly. it’s ok to be a casual now. it’s ok to be 1800cr and call it a season.

I actually agree. DF PVP is fun as hell. Knowing I can get to 1.8k for cosmetics on my own and not worry about finding others (especially healers) to play with consistently is great.
I’ve been able to go back to playing DPS and actually enjoy the game for myself again. I’ve been able to multi-class like never before.
My only real issue is balance, and not so much tuning, but mechanical balance, such as warrior mobility, shaman defenses, things you can’t just turn a knob on and expect it to work itself out.

It has always been ok to hit any desired rating and just call it a season. The fact that you felt otherwise was a you problem.

He may be referring more to the need to keep up on it for gear to be even remotely competitive for casual play. That’s not really something you could always do. People would start to grossly outgear you with conquest gear over time or upgrades in SLs, so there was pressure to keep on top of it.
There’s a little bit of that now, but it’s not enough to make it mandatory.

None of these offered an ilev advantage in Shadowlands with the exception of Sinful and 233(?) weaponry.
I’m just about ready to give up on solo shuffle and rated play as angry as it’s making me waiting 3 hours for one game.
Game is so much less stressful when you just WoD it, capping conquest and doing wpvp/casual bgs.
The valut p’ed me off today too that I looted it as Fury and not arms and got a 1 hander option so had to go with the legplates.

People don’t bash his rating, they bash him bashing other peoples’ ratings after paying for his own.
Nothing in this game makes max ilvl gear absolutely mandatory. There has never been an issue with meeting a goal and go next

honestly at this point I don’t see why you wouldn’t just buy rating, game should come with a glider too. basically the same garbage featuring a cooler flight mode with gated mount mog.

Not really. Dragonflight as a whole thus far has actually been very well-received. Only real complaint has been balancing issues which, surprise, its an MMORPG and even in a perfectly balanced game everyone (mainly shaman) find something to cry about

by who exactly, if it was so well received they would be posting numbers again but they won’t because in another week they’ll lose half their player base once their 2nd month is up.
No joke I had less than 4hrs played at 70 and am now full honor geared. I have never been so excited about arenas and PvP. Dragonflight is the undisputed goat 
for gearing. So hyped to learn and play!

If you don’t think people have been mostly enjoying Dragonflight, then you either don’t have many friends in game or have friends that do nothing but parrot how much they hate wow back and forth.

GOOD point, I agree 100%!!! Wpvp is hella fun atm with plenty of players running around. Get that 1800 transmoggies for the collection and ba ba BAM. Winning in wow is not taking this game serious, just having fun. There is no gear advantage so you can fight all you want. With the streamers and pay to win websites losing money, it makes the game better!
Not exactly a desired rating, it was to have an even advantage in Wpvp, and ganking fun. Now with even item levels, its may the best player win. Most important to me is players are actually out in the world, not sitting town/garrison for a queue.
Agreed, there was a HUGE ilvl advantage in all PvP.
most of my real friends refuse to come back and the few that did aren’t staying lol as far as echo chamber I’d say the same for the fanboys simping for blizz.
yeah especially swarms of elite npcs agroing during it? brilliant decision again on blizzard. plus if you think they’re doing it for fun and not the reward you’re wrong.
this is still the case after coins and sparks are collected

The Dragon mount flying system is hella fun, I like it!!! I hope they expand it to other mounts or even just maybe the other old Drake mounts we have.
