Blizzard doesn’t care about what you want. They care about what maintain their vision. high elves on the alliance just aren’t a part of it. They’ve made it quite clear.

They didn’t lie, because they never said they would make it playable, just that they would “consider it.”.

But if that is the consensus it may be they lie in their off handed comments others use to quote them on BE’s being the only High Elves we will ever get.

I’d hate working in a call center. I won’t even answer my own phone unless it’s my daughters school, relating to an appointment, or family/close friends.

I have a slight hearing problem so I make people repeat themselves a lot, and it’s worse on the phone so I feel annoying and my anxiety spikes.

Saying “well they can siphon energy” does not change the fact that the defining characteristic of thalassians is their connection to the sunwell.

All the Sunwell is to the thalassians is a source of magic. High Elves on the Alliance are proof of that. (It’s important to their culture because of what it meant for them, but if they found a different font of magic for them to draw their magic from in Warcraft, they would have went with it.)

This is why when it exploded, they went into withdrawal.

They went into a withdrawal because they needed their magic. The Sunwell isn’t, like, a part of their body or DNA. They didn’t die when it was destroyed.

This is why when it was re-ignited, their withdrawals stopped entirely.

They got their source of magic back up. That’s it.

They are the ONLY race with such a connection.

This means what, exactly? They don’t suddenly become a raceless creature if they’re not connected with the Sunwell. High Elves on the Alliance are proof of that.

I asked you before to name any other race with such a connection, and you flat out ignored the question. Again, because it means acknowledging it as a defining characteristic of that race.

This doesn’t really add to your point? Once again, them being connected to the Sunwell isn’t what makes them thalassian elves. It’s what permanently changed their bodies into what they are, but they don’t need it to remain the way they are. All they need is a source of magic.

Void elves have no connection to the sunwell, have tentacles, and bleed purple. Trying to argue they are thalassians is literlaly ignoring everything presented before you.

They are thalassian elves. Just like Azeroth Orcs are still Orcs. Them having purple blood and darker skin tones doesn’t mean they’re not thalassian elves.

High Elf is the keyword there. He said they’re a different type of high elf, not that they’re a different flavor of elf.

Find me tentacles, purple, blood, and no connection to the sunwell on any other thalassian elf. You won’t find one.

They’re still thalassians, they’ve just been inflicted with Void. Azeroth Orcs are still Orcs, they’ve just been inflicted with demon blood.

It had it’s funny moments, like when I worked tech support and a co-worker told a lady that she needed to replace the hamster running in a wheel inside her computer… and her answer was “Think I should get a new hamster then?”.

But then there were times I would come back home and burst out crying as soon as I set one foot in my apartment.

Absolutely. I’m telling you, after that experience, each time I have to call somewhere, I’m as nice as I can be because I know what’s most likely happening on the other side of the line.

Maybe more people needs to get those kind of jobs to develop some empathy and stop behaving like entitled babies.
