Oh, right. I didn’t read that properly. They may just be saying that to keep this debate alive, true. But we don’t really know what they could have meant by it
Easy.
“Keep paying me you suckers because you didn’t get the obvious hint in 2006.”
Blizzard doesn’t care about what you want. They care about what maintain their vision. high elves on the alliance just aren’t a part of it. They’ve made it quite clear.
Now I am going to bed.
I am sure your nextpost will be you going NU UH, but I wont be surpried.
Basically they are liars.
YES!
This is exactly it.
And look, I know its a disheartening thing, but it is better to see things for what they are than live with a cruel lie.
Anyway, bed time.
Money making it’s brutal.
Perhaps they are lying about their intentions on making HE’s playable oof
That’s probably why I have no money. That and the whole lack of a job thing, and being in school.
They didn’t lie, because they never said they would make it playable, just that they would “consider it.”.
The same way mom “considers” your opinion on getting a third cookie. You’re not getting the third cookie, but you can hope.
NOW im off to bed
Sorry, but you can keep telling yourself Santa is real, but the fat man dressed in red at the mall doesn’t have the hability of traveling around the world with a magical sack of neverending gift boxes.
To be honest, if it wasn’t because I work with my brother, I would either still be in a miserable call center job or homeless. I’m glad at least he has the social skill/guts to handle it.
I wasn’t the one that claimed the devs lied?
But if that is the consensus it may be they lie in their off handed comments others use to quote them on BE’s being the only High Elves we will ever get.
So it can be thought of both ways I do think
I’d hate working in a call center. I won’t even answer my own phone unless it’s my daughters school, relating to an appointment, or family/close friends.
I have a slight hearing problem so I make people repeat themselves a lot, and it’s worse on the phone so I feel annoying and my anxiety spikes.
All the Sunwell is to the thalassians is a source of magic. High Elves on the Alliance are proof of that. (It’s important to their culture because of what it meant for them, but if they found a different font of magic for them to draw their magic from in Warcraft, they would have went with it.)
They went into a withdrawal because they needed their magic. The Sunwell isn’t, like, a part of their body or DNA. They didn’t die when it was destroyed.
They got their source of magic back up. That’s it.
This means what, exactly? They don’t suddenly become a raceless creature if they’re not connected with the Sunwell. High Elves on the Alliance are proof of that.
This doesn’t really add to your point? Once again, them being connected to the Sunwell isn’t what makes them thalassian elves. It’s what permanently changed their bodies into what they are, but they don’t need it to remain the way they are. All they need is a source of magic.
They are thalassian elves. Just like Azeroth Orcs are still Orcs. Them having purple blood and darker skin tones doesn’t mean they’re not thalassian elves.
High Elf is the keyword there. He said they’re a different type of high elf, not that they’re a different flavor of elf.
No. I’ve never tried to either. This is you making another red herring argument in an attempt to distract me or something?
…What? You’re literally saying that you don’t care about the lore because it’s not helping your case? I’m not just randomly bringing up these facts for no reason; they all add to my point.
This isn’t what makes a Thalassian Elf a Thalassian Elf.
Ok. Where can I find this? This is just your headcanon.
They’re still thalassians, they’ve just been inflicted with Void. Azeroth Orcs are still Orcs, they’ve just been inflicted with demon blood.
Void Elves have the… Void… to sate their desires.
Didn’t most of the helves threads die out? Kinda confused on why this is still being dragged out.
IDK that’s just my two sense on the matter.
Because whatever comes from the mouth of a businessman, even if it’s being told by someone that is not the one making the business themselves, would be taken with a grain of salt.
Except it’s not a misquote, it’s what they said.
It had it’s funny moments, like when I worked tech support and a co-worker told a lady that she needed to replace the hamster running in a wheel inside her computer… and her answer was “Think I should get a new hamster then?”.
But then there were times I would come back home and burst out crying as soon as I set one foot in my apartment.
That same logic can be used for PRO HE’s too. Take their comments against the issue with a grain of salt.
I didn’t say it was a misquote I just said the comments they have made on the issue.
Yeah I hear you on that. Most of my jobs have been customer service, and some days were rough. Most were really, people treat cashiers like dirt.
No, people who are requesting for playable High Elves are not spiteful. Let me know in this thread where people are asking to roll a Blood Elf of Sunstrider Isle on Alliance?
Because when people roll any race in the game, they are not rolling a race as a whole.
So try again.
Absolutely. I’m telling you, after that experience, each time I have to call somewhere, I’m as nice as I can be because I know what’s most likely happening on the other side of the line.
Maybe more people needs to get those kind of jobs to develop some empathy and stop behaving like entitled babies.
Really now? Then why should I ignore the possibility of the story of one of my favorite races being rendered pointless because of what you want?
Again, you don’t get to call someone spiteful if you’re unable to see where the other person is coming from.
I’m the same way, and I definitely think people should have to work these jobs. A day for every time they treat a customer service employee like garbage.
