You really wanna take a CoH idea into WoW I’d go with being able to switch factions by slowly losing your loyalty and faction identity while gaining more loyalty and faction identity with the other.
Had a peacebringer become a villain before CoH shut down. Lol
Except lore and time has moved on, the playable high elves were added and blood elves are it. On top of that we’re finally getting all the customization for it.
That would be beyond amazing. I wish they had more stuff like that (and Sunwalkers) that really made them look/feel like a unique class even if the spells functionally were the same.
yeah i know. i’m saying we are losing 15 year veterans of the game, primarily alliance mains since the blue eyes announcement because they’ve finally realized the maybe was not actually a future yes
Blizz loses players for a variety of reasons. You set yourself up for this. It’s like that meme where you’re on a bike and you put a stick in the wheels and blame Blizzard.
i was irritated about the darker skin colors, cause i was promoting playable half elves, where they are part human and can tap into the african and asian human models coming in shadowlands, as that would’ve made them unique from other elves in the game. but that was also given to blood elves
Except they haven’t been ‘out of the alliance’ High elves have been notably part of the alliance ever since Vanilla and have showen up to remind us they are part of the alliance in EVERY single expansion. Sometimes even playing a big roll.
They do work and allready ARE part of the alliance, all that needs to be done is to make them playabe, which is perfectly reasonable.
And Since Void elvs are allready on the Alliance, it would be very simple to merge Void Elves and High elves into one race.
A simple toggle like upright orcs that swaps between standard void elves, and a version with pinker skin, removes the void tentacles from the hair and changes the partacle effects on the racial abilities to be arcane themed instead of void themed.
It’s literally that simple, could be added as a toggle customisation for void elves.
I don’t think anything is confirmed. I mean there were eye colors that were thought to be for belves, but now apparently are thought to be for worgen.
Until it’s confirmed and in game we don’t know anything for sure.
And some people call high elf fans toxic and hope they don’t get high elves, but look at the people celebrating the potential disappointment of an entire part of the fanbase. I saw people on Twitter joking about high elf fans being on suicide watch. Maybe blizzard shouldn’t reward people acting like that either.
I just would hope they can begging to divorce the “Paladin” class from strictly being naaru related… make the sunwalkers more like sunwalkers, Zandalari troll more loa based, DID more fire based, and so on with nelf paladins.
This kind of thing spoils it for those whom genuinely deserve their customization.
I would ask any pro helf, that when they get what they want, no one gets all crazy and tossing it in peoples faces. I think the Vulpera crowd actually did well in that regard.
Doing that for all the classes in the long run, like adding a template on top that’s rather like a wide glyph selection would be amazing. And it’d add a lot of depth to each class with that kind of variety even if it’s simply visual.
Though, I know that’d be a lot of work to add new spells (cause they’d need a lot more visual additions for just a single spell) but I think it’d be nice in the long run if they did a few per expac
Yeah, rather annoying my warrior is more brute strength and crazy when a night elf is an elegant and skillful warrior.
Wouldn’t have to be new spells, maybe just more of the cosmetic and visual side of spells. Temps verdict will always be temps verdict, just depending on the race maybe it appears different.
Calm down, the majority of the playerbase doesn’t make comments on the forums or twitter every day. This just feels like spite trying to say others shouldn’t get nice things because some did bad thing. smh
