how about folding the SC of dalaran back into the farstriders now that the faction war is officially over. maybe seeing kael and their dead people in shadowlands will put into perspective how petty the beef between vereesa and lorthemar is for them. thats pretty good closure for me

They can keep Vereesa, she’s a dork.
There hasnt been any mending of relations between the factions though. Unless you call that walking steak …cough Baine … in SW keep mending relations.
So I really don’t see them having the SC pack up their bags and rejoining the Farstriders. Also given that Shadowlands and the stories within are mostly going to be just the adventurer and the members of the covenants.
Also blizz has no intentions of loosening tensions between the factions, and as much as they sprinkle in high elves… well they obviously won’t make any changes there.
if you played a hunter in legion you would know the SC and farstriders team up throughout the expansion. they even join the hunter class hall at the same time. vereesa, alleria, liadrin and aethas go to argus together. i mean if you want to say they hate each other burden of proof is on you because thats the last interaction we saw
Blood knights, Sun walkers, church of the light all joined under the Silverhand? We going to pretend that they should all join as well?? Legion specifically created class halls to show cooperation between the different factions within the confines of class.

Dunno, I tend to keep threads I follow up in a tab of their own, when I checked today that one had a 404. They’re not going to tell us, the OP of the original thread is probably the only one who can ask what happened.
I don’t know if this is why it happened. But we asked a bit back if we could remake this thread (while there was a big pro thread active) so we could have our own discussion, and we were told by a mod a very clear no, that they only wanted on big high elf related thread at a time. But that’s just a guess.

Hey, being selfish about a game’s pixels is literally irrelevant, it’s not a judgement on your personality.
I’m just saying we should be honest here. I just don’t see how any of your arguments here aren’t root in a selfishness to keep everything thalassian on your side.
I mean when the point is “well let’s just fold the high elves into VE’s and be done with it” and you say no, how is it not selfishness?

As I said, you shouldn’t take it as a personal attack. That your argument is selfish is the point, and you haven’t demonstrated in any way the opposite.
As I said, at most I’m calling you selfish on this issue, this has nothing to do with your personality as a whole.

I suspect this wouldn’t end these conversions but rather change them into folk being mad that an obviously alliance leaning group that supported the alliance more than once has just up and gone horde despite the… Rather hostile actions they’ve taken on their path.
Better to have the SC and other alliance high elves become void elves. End it. No more high elves just blood and void.

Personally, I fail to see how the Silver Covenant -the group that has been pro-alliance all this time, and whose leader still wishes for the Blood Elves to return to the Alliance- joining the Horde and the Blood Elves would be satisfactory in any way lol.
It would be good closure for a Horde player I guess. Which is why it would be such a bad end for an alliance player hahaha.

Isn’t this whole thing completely about selfishness if you want to use that term? The selfishness of wanting to keep something that is yours vs the selfishness of demanding that the game cater to you by making your unicorn version of the pixel elves on the side you want to play on?
