It is time for a reminder. I love the game, love Blood Elves and am convinced that alliance getting high elves would be bad for the game.

I maintain that the best chance for high elves on the alliance is to meld them into the void elves through a scenario.

I believe that’s not necessary. Just because some people wanted high elves playable on the alliance faction doesn’t mean they need to get them or change the story of Void Elves.
If we are stating points; I legitimately think Half Elves would be an Alliance race with more potential than High Elves, with the possibility of touching a lot of new ground in terms of perspective.
Still, I still believe High Elves by themselves would be a good addition, just not as overall good as Half Elves could be.
But that’s not his point. He’s not saying that High Elves are necessary, just that the best chance they have to be implemented in game in any meaningful way is through the Void Elves.
This is not about you agreeing if HE’s should be playable or not, but about how they would be likely to.
And I think we all agree that Void Elves NEED more population.

its so delusional. theres literally a few high elves left in the alliance that are the basis for their hopes. i mean we are talking about easter egg NPCs that stand around and have no narrative or purpose bedsides adding a little bit of flavor to the world
there are literally 2 canon alliance high elves in stormwind but they are used as representatives of a massive, unseen population of alliance high elves. and then theres what amounts to a campsite in the hinterlands with a few hermit elves. but for helfers its a flourishing city rich with high elf culture
velves are the final nail in the coffin to the dream of playable blue eyed blood elves on the alliance and everybody knows it. hopefully the devs are sick of the spam and denial of lore and either have sylvanas brutally kill vereesa in shadowlands or just give the blood elves(high elves) their eye colors back to reflect the cleansing effect of feeding off the sunwell for over 8 years and to drive home the point blood elves are our high elves

Seriously the helfers cannot use the 2 high elves in stormwind at all since only people who have done the void elf allied race quest can even see them.

This absolutely IS about my opinion about High Elves and that they shouldn’t be playable for the Alliance. Which also includes my disagreeing with changing a story for Void Elves.
I do not begrudge you. Your opinion is just as valid as mine on this. None of us will be the final arbiters of whether or not High Elves are added or how or even if they are at all.
Realistically its probably not going to happen anytime in the near future.
I merely am searching for the most likely way that they could be added now. To that end I think the only way blizzard would really consider is to roll them into the Void Elves.

I suggest they remove the high elves and replace them with void elves in combat zones and also change the high elf settlements to be void elf ones then.
No one can request them if they don’t exist.

awww…I imagine you might get some good natured laughs then.
I wish this very much, but imo that request isn’t linked to this topic. If Blood Elves get new eye color options I don’t see how that would effect the helfer request.

Any sort of solution to the High Elf issue that doesn’t address them or resolve them is in any way feels just entirely selfish for your part.
Cause if not even “getting assimilated into the VE to bolster their ranks” seems fair to you, can’t see another logic beyond that.

although their request makes no sense after void elves and the lore presented in game. blue eyes for blood elves makes sense lore wise at this point
