Because I am a professional/OG/traditional MMO gamer and have been waiting in queues on every MMO I’ve ever played. The server has more worth, therefore every reward has more worth which in turn makes the wait to get in worth it.
What’s your reason why the Herod Q doesn’t bother you my Herodians?
As a person that’s been playing MMOs long before WoW even came out, can’t say I understand why people still want to wait in several hour long queues. I mean, if you’re cool with it, more power to you. I’ve been through it many times and I would wait through it if I had to, but I don’t see any reason too when alternatives are available.
The community on Herod is the best by far, and the wait times will drop down at some point leaving us with a population that will be maintained throughout Classic.
And, Incase people are thinking we are the only ones that will have long waits, all the servers are heading to full, and Monday is going to slam every server over capacity.
I think this will probably be the case as well. I expect every server to have some queues. Herod is shaping up to have the worst queues for sure but the people staying on Herod should know that by this point so it’s their choice.
damn I miscliked on my Reply, either way I agree with MAX. Blizzard is not ready for MONDAY!! all servers will be slammed by the thousands if not by the million+s
On August the 13th. I Subbed to World Of Warcraft to reserve my 3 character names. I logged in toBlizzard, entered Wow Classic and The first thing Idid was to Join the Fullest Server of all Realms(Herod). The why Of my Choosing it’s because I loveseveral things. I love seeing people everyone, itmakes the game super alive, I love world pvp sovery much, i love pve and bgs. Don’t care about thequeue. Blizzard is not ready for Monday most servers are full already
There is a good chance if you aren’t one of the first players on Herod, your 10,000 long queue, will mean you are waiting for 6-24 hours to log in. Maybe even longer depending on how long the original players connecting no life it till first log out.
My main concern for Herod isn’t really even the queues personally. I think it’ll still be so full by the time phase 2 rolls around that they will be forced to offer server transfers off the server and splinter the community.
My realm in vanilla (Bleeding Hollow) was one of the biggest PVP servers and went through 3 free server transfers before BC even came out. I was fine with queues but it really sucked seeing a lot of friends and guilds leave our server because of queues and lag.
