you and just about every other mage that found fire to be “fun to play” like everyone else

I tried Fire last week and it’s more fun to play than Frost because I can hardly get off a 2-second casttime Frostbolt that hits for 2k against melees, while Fire’s burst is mainly instants and hits a tonne.

You don’t need to greater pyroblast them when a meteor/combust/fireblast/fireblast/pyro/fireblast/pyro can take almost anyone 100-0 in 2-3 seconds without a single spell going off.

Greater pyroblast is not the problem, although nerfing it could be part of one possible solution. In Legion you weren’t able to follow a greater pyro with 3 instants that that would largely hit at the same time and chunk a combined 35-45% of someone’s HP along with the 35% from greater pyro to solo somone at almost any point in the game.

Actually comical that a first time glad fire mage actually tries and justify this. First off, congrats on the first time glad, you and just about every other mage that found fire to be “fun to play” like everyone else

When mages are agreeing with Abomb something’s wrong w/ the meta. At this point I’m really tending to believe the all wise and powerful former mage-turned-druid known as Veidaz who believes this meta is being defined by the mage/sham problem (i.e. nearly every comp needs either a mage or sham to really stand out - obviously w/ some exceptions).
