Honestly. I’d take Silvermoon or Suramar City over Stormwind any given day from just a purely aesthetic perspective.
And honestly, Thunder Bluff is just so dang peaceful. And the scenic views from various places all over Mulgore have been some of the most beautiful in the game since Vanilla.
It’s what all the “civilized” people in history did to all the “savages”. Almost like savagery and civilization is a complete myth and are just relative political opinions.
If civilization were a myth we wouldn’t be living in one, that’s just silly.
More importantly, savagery does exist; it exists in brutality, viciousness, and mercilessness.
All of which are pretty well portrayed by longing to drop more magic nukes, raze more surrendered cities and massacre even more non-combatants.
You know, those things you’ve been tossing around so casually when posed with the accusation.
It’s not that much time.
And wimpy elf stuff just isn’t their thing.
There is also not that much cultural exchange between the Kalimdor Horde and the Eastern Horde. It is and remains an alliance of convenience.
At least huts are easy to replace unlike Theramore, Teldrassil, Gnomeregan, Lordaeron, Zin-Azshari, etc. Seems like Alliance are better at building since they’re having to rebuild all the time.
Because hand holding and emotion dumping makes sense in a world run by warlords where cosmic threats are constantly trying to eradicate you… oh, wait, give me a sec to collect my emotional support poodle, I can’t save the universe without them.
“I am GARROSH! I will scream about blood and honor and then commit suicide through an elaborate scheme of war crimes all the while acting like every abusive, tantrum-throwing father everywhere.”
It gets boring, quickly. In milliseconds you could say
I wouldn’t say that, but then again I like complex characters that have actual motives and realistic emotions, not the “every wounded animal must be nursed back to health!” mindset of the modern writers and devs that infects almost literally every single character in game…
