Why Harpies Should Be Playable

1 - They are cool

2 - They would be the first flying Race, which would mean they could have a “Flying Wild” Racial skill, which would be a novelty.

3 - Harpies were originally a regular non-evil Race. When their Goddess Aviana died, they fell under the influence of mysterious dark forces. Now that Aviana is back, she should reclaim her children!

4 - Harpies have interesting outfits that should be available for Players.

5 - All Harpies are female, which means half as much work for Blizzard compared to other races!

6 - Playable Harpies would make me Harpy :smiley:

No way. That’s a reason to make them playable. Brand new race, half as much dev time spent to make it.

All they have to do is to disable the “male” button when you select harpy, just like they disable the Warlock button when you select Draenei.

I’d imagine there’s some males but if they exist it would remind me of the very first story in the manga Petshop of Horrors. A gorgeous male bird eventually has his owner buy a female so he’s not lonely. But unknown to her, this species of bird eats the male once a baby is created. So that the mom has plenty of food for the pregnancy.

Dude HARPIES are mean angry flying women. There’s enough of those Karen’s in RL, please not in Wow. Keep them isolated in mini forests throughout Azeroth, not main stream! OP u crazy!

This would be why they shouldn’t be added. I hate gender locked races. My biggest video game disappointment was not being able to play a bunny dude when I started out in FF14.

I’m just giving my opinion. I don’t think I’d play a male harpy anyway, but I wouldn’t want anyone else to be as disappointed as I was with FF :man_shrugging:

Oddly enough, though they are almost nearly naked. They have more modesty versus players.

Being deaf, this is a plus for me. Turn down the SQUAK!
