Oh, so you’re new to the forums. Welcome!
If I’ve learned anything from being on these forums it’s that the life of an average WoW player (the ones that use the forums at any rate) must be exhausting.
I didn’t need to know who Flynn was. He’s clearly a rogue or spymaster of some kind and I think I vaguely remember him from the Rogue class hall. But what does it matter if a quest has you interacting with a character your faction hasn’t really interacted with? The faction divide is steadily being broken down so it should more crossover should be expected.

You have no reason to care about the other thousands of random people we’ve found in cages or chains and helped escape before. We do it because we’re the good guys. Him being Alliance-leaning is a nothingburger.

Like as if we suddenly start calling Anduin - ‘Steven’ Anduin Wrynn.
Gazlowe was always his last name. Pretty sure he used to be called “Foreman Gazlowe” or something so I always knew that Gazlowe was his last name.
