So Flynn Fairwind shows up in Azj-Kahet. You help him kill some Nerubians and send him off to the Weaver to for an antidote to his poison.
But, why him? Horde players never even met this guy? It’s one thing to be made to quest with Anduin and Alleria. Sure, call them neutral now, but Flynn is a minor character who’s the boyfriend of the Alliance’s spymaster. My Highmountain Tauren Druid really has no reason to care about him.
For the Alliance we are very fond or at least very familiar with Flynn as we quest with him in BFA.
I guess for the Horde he is just another NPC…
I also suspect that because this patch is very Alliance centered, the next one will probably be very Horde centered. Just a guess, but it does make sense.
So, we Alliance will get our comeuppance, not to worry. lol I don’t play Horde, so will not have a clue who the NPC’s are if not also Alliance content at some point.
Because he will come in handy later when HORDE AND ALLIANCE keep working TOGETHER for their COMMON CAUSE that they both share. The factions are becoming less fraction and more whole.
Not every quest has to have some ground shaking, universal level meaning. Do you know the names and backstory of every npc that gives you a quest? I can say I have actually done virtually every quest in the game…that’s a lot of npcs that you seemto know on a person level…
or
Sometimes a quest is there because somebody needed help, and it’s more important for you to know that as opposed to knowing how important they are or who they are to somebody else.
I don’t know you, but I know at least one person out there would miss you if you died in a cave full of angry spider-people…
talked to them in another thread.
brick wall. Don’t bother. Not sure why I did. they lack basic human communication and empathy so they are still learning.
