I will admit I was wondering where the ER was too. I mean, an Elemental crisis? Why the frick weren’t the Shamans there?
Unless of course, they’re still recovering from the events of Cataclysm and Legion, maybe.

Hey, sometimes you gotta show a little tough love.
Scars build character.
I was agreeing with her. She’s spot on. Baine and Calia are the worst.
Also I like your idea of replacing Baine with Mayla. It’s also very on brand with this xpac so it shouldn’t be a hard sell.
His son is dead
He went on a genocidal tour around Nokud grounds, his 5 mins of being cool.
Both son and dad are very much d-e-d.
… what few remain that didn’t get killed because they were evil.
I mean, is it anybody’s fault that the Horde consisted of mostly evil characters that end up biting the dust?
Heck, even the fricken spider queen understood why gaining power to try to dominate the world was a bad idea. Too bad her daughter is going to have to learn why the hard way.
This, unironically. They weren’t as present as Alliance characters at the beginning, but that was largely rectified through the rest of the campaign.
Which is why all these people just seem crazy to me.
It’s not like Flynn welcomes horde characters as friends, we’re just coworkers on shift together. Better than a nameless nobody imo
That, and it’s nice to introduce characters to the other faction.
Like, maybe a Horde starts seeing these Alliance characters and might get curious and decide to start an Alliance character to learn who these people are, same for why they put Horde characters in for Alliance players to meet (like Meerah and some of the Reliquary people for example).
He’s charming and charismatic. People loved him in BFA. A returning crowd favorite.
I know I loved the part where he tasted an unknown liquid he suspected might have been pee. Peak moment.
Why do I have to go do questing with Lillian Voss? Or the multitude of other minor Horde characters in this game?
Please no.
Not Meerah
They’re slowly blurring the lines and IMO sooner rather than later the factions are just going to go away completely.
We’re already most of the way there in gameplay mechanics.
In-universe it makes sense for them to cooperate than to war with one another. Especially with the amount of world-ending threats they constantly face.
Spoiler warning for those that haven’t completed the leveling story line and then the post leveling story line.
Wait, did you not play the parts with Lillian Voss yet? It’s not all Alliance, though there are a lot of Alliance npcs being used. For some reason, the Horde still seems to be getting used to their council system. I guess the only member they could share was Thrall.
Also the leader of the orc army? There’s more than a few Horde npcs in the continuation of the story.
One of the max level campaign quests has Turalyon and the Mag’har leader doing some light bickering, and the Earthen escort finding them obnoxious and childish.
That’s Blizzard talking directly to you, faction fanatics. Take a hint.
I’m cool with it. The power of friendship is magic. Or something.
