Why Flynn?

Very few.

Alliance players not only are forgetting the Forsaken’s Cult of the Forgotten Shadow, but ignore or downplay the Reliquary.

Whatever, the Ring should have a vested interest in Azeroth’s well-being.

So outside of Thrall what CHARACTERS do you want.
The Earthen Ring isn’t a character and they’re a Neutral organization
Brann has been questing with players in content like this since Cata.

Horde die hards hate Baine and Calia
Lor’Themar? Snooze.
Rokhan? Who lol.
Saurfang? Sure, he’s cool.

If you were to design a new Horde archaeologist, what sort of character would you like to see? An orc out to explore the new world (and conquer it’s secrets!) ? A goblin looking for treasures to auction off? A vulpura with a collecting obsession? A forsaken academic? A troll jani-worshipper “all the world is a trashpile!”?

I have mainly Horde but also played Alliance characters. Doesn’t everybody?

Flynn is a pretty unique and funny character. Drunk Flynn questline was a riot.

One of the more memorable human-type characters like Maximillion in Un’goro.

Sure. Another Neutral group.

Cause we won the war now quest with who I tell you to Horde!

They should have just had more options than Brann in general to give that feature more customization.

I hear that Flynn threatened to walk if he didn’t get more screen time. So, they just stuck him in some random places.

Why no, I don’t know why. Care to enlighten me?

Rexxar, Tae’thalan Bloodwatcher, literally any shaman.

The ring is Horde-leaning and filled with Horde characters. The Kirin Tor is Alliance-leaning and was shoved in our faces in DF.

The Explorer’s League is literally classified as Alliance in-game, so time to fix that.

Good.

He’s fine.

Give him more development.

My human paladin has no reason to care about gazlowe and yet he’s there. Same with Voss.

Don’t act like it’s only alliance characters showing up.

Just like you do “very few” quests for Turalyon, too.

Then you go to the depths and meet up with Flynn… and Voss. In fact, Voss gets more screen-time than Flynn does.

Not that I mind or care, because I’m not breaking out a ruler. I’m only responding to you.

…who? lol

I didn’t ignore them. They’re a bunch of dainty elves that stand around with their floating books that tell adventurers to go get stuff for them so they can study it.

Brann, on the other hand, has countless times dove right into the action right alongside the adventurers. The player character has been teaming up with him ever since Ulduar, lol.

Well, one, they are a neutral faction and have been since Vanilla. Two, they were mostly decimated by the events of Cataclysm, and only somewhat put back together by the player in Legion, and are probably still recovering since.

He’s also dead, ain’t he?

That would actually be perfect. Vulpera are small and well-suited to caves like dwarves, have lots of curiosity, love treasure and trinkets.

But, a Pandaren would work too, as Pandaren love digging up old history, and would have some historical background from Lorewalker Cho being an Archaeologist himself.

I wanna be clear I think the Horde should be involved more, but I also think it’d be hilarious if they included the Earthen Ring and of all the shamans they send Farseer Nobundo.

They have been curiously absent. Trying to remember if they even made an appearance in DF with all the elemental stuff going on.

hey don’t hate on my boy Nobundo.

You said it, sister.

They 300% are.
People have unironically said that there is no Horde presence in War Within.

To be fair, what does Baine ever do other than sit around in Thunder Bluff complaining about stuff?

They need to make him do awesome stuff like his dad did, more often.

Nah, when we need some beef, we always get Mayla. They should just have Mayla come down and take over Thunder Bluff.

I mean, look at the Suffusion Camp in Ohn’ara. Who’s there? It ain’t Baine.

It’s Mayla, of course.

Because the next patch is all about goblins.

DF is really when they should have made an appearance.

A lot of those groups don’t really show up to world ending threats unless they’re thematically relevant. At least not in any significant numbers, you might see a few randoms somewhere in the expansion.

I like to think he’s still sitting in that corner in Oribos where we left him.

I think Horde was weak out the gate in comparison but was waiting to see what Thrall was coming back with. Sure enough we have like every named Horde character as far back as like Wrath.
