We can balance server sizes & factions from the get-go (which otherwise would be carried over)

We can experience that fresh launch experience again – which was amazing. One last dose of Classic. We can give another go at group leveling which was a bit harder than expected our first try of Classic (idk about you, but I completely passed my friends; now I now who can keep up with me and I’d love to level up together).

You can experience this “rush”, in Outlands.

You can re-roll into the new races as desired, without missing out. Can also re-roll into classes that are now more viable due to the awesome talents/balancing of BC.

I’m not missing out on anything. There’s still helpful levelers out there.

There would be waves of people reaching the Outlands who have similar playstyles (first all the hardcores, then the gamers, then the casuals, then the hyper-casuals). I think this would also FORCE communities to form (now, instead of trying to find a 40 man raid group, you want to find 3-10 players to run BC dungeons with when you hit ~60).

The Community is still there. They don’t need to be “forced” to do, anything.

I’m not against fresh BC servers. Just not for the reasons you gave. Personally, I’m more in favor of this idea:

Copy the Classic server data (characters, progress, guilds, etc.) over to the new hosted server, and the old Classic server progresses to BC.
