Why even have a bg Bonus Event?

The alliance already get +50% honor. Why give them even more? Basically when they lose they get the same amount of honor. No reason to give them even more.

That “enlistment bonus” 50% only works on winning, if the tool tip is to be believed.

“Objectives AND Wins” so completing objectives in bgs would get extra honor too it seems.

Yes!!! I can now run the the vendor and get some gear, gems, enchants and potions with all this honour!!! Eat it Hordies, I didn’t even win a single game for all this glorious honour.

Hmmm… maybe @Bdm can do a straw poll on who cares about honor?

I don’t care about honor, but some folks do, and I AM curious why they do.

Unless you are a super-mega-high honor level, everyone else already has the honor “rewards” so they mean nothing.

Also, @OP you can MERC to gain the same honor as alliance, no?

I’m not wanting to be a merc. It’s just irritating to win and no matter how soundly you defeat your opponent you see nearly the same rewards for both. The event only exacerbates this.

Yeah, I think a majority of horde feel this way too. However, the option exists if you want to have more honor.

This seems to be in opposition to your original post.

Why are you so upset that the alliance gets a little more honor during an occasional one-week event, when you have the option to play on their side and get that honor too?

Really, we could just say 0. The losing team gets 0 conquest which, unlike honor, actually matters.

Josh is a pretty awesome healer. If he’s offering to group up, I wouldn’t let the opportunity get by.
