Ive played this game for a long time now, and one thing ive never understood is elitism. What is the point of making someone feel like trash just because their “score” is low or because they dont have as many mythic achievements as you do? It’s so gross especially now that the player base is dwindling. Instead of making someone feel like trash because they have a low score, why not help him get his score up instead?

It’s pretty sad, really. I mean, we’re all super nerds here playing an online game where we are elves, dwarves, orc, undead… cows(?) and shoot spells at pretend monsters while other people smash on them with pixelated swords. The idea that so many have to get all uppity and measure e-peens over made up numbers to try and make themselves feel better IRL?

Do you really think someone who is a toxic, elitist, raging at teammates type of player will read this and say “you know what, you’re right, it’s never occurred to me before not to be elitist. I will change now”.

Stop pugging, play with guildies. If you are in a bad guild find a good one. Stop making the game harder by pugging. pugging is a horrible way to play this game, imo.
Even though I’m not subscribed due to not liking BFA, even if I loved bfa I would quit if most of my progression was with a pug. I dont know how you people do it.

Where are all of these elitists that people keep complaining about? I have a very heard time finding any.
Someone declining you from a group doeant make them an elitist, if you have ever made a group you would know that you can only take so many people.
Using rio doesn’t make you elitist. I use rio and I’ve never done above an 8.
And I have never had any point at my score and say rude things.
Sure anectodal evidence isnt the best, but what is everyone complaining about?
When was the last time someone made you feel bad because of low score, and then can you prove thier intent was to be rude? Maybe you’re projecting.

Eh. I got sick of the garbage that is the nutjobs pugs of m+ like you. So I just stopped doing them. Hasn’t affected my progression in the slightest. Just stop doing m+. Thank me later.

I have no obligation to carry inexperienced/bad people.
If I choose to do so (as I sometimes do), that is different.
Just like there is content I am currently unable to get a pug for, I don’t expect anyone to feel obligated to carry me.
