I wonder if and when Dracthyr get different classes, what they will do with the Evoker talent nodes that alter their racial abilities.
Probably keep them until more races can be Evokers.
And either rework/remove them or give them to the other class talent nodes (which I don’t see Dracthyr getting a special Warrior talent tree accounting for their knockback/disrupt racials)
They’ll have to be reworked. I think those racials were specifically referenced by a dev explaining that more classes for Drac’thyr or races for Evoker would be quite a ways down the road, since the two are intrinsically linked at the moment.
Notice how you needed to combined multiple races and class features to get the utility spread that this ONE race provides. Enough said lol. No current race gives you stats, 2 forms of cc, a movement buff. I’m also pretty sure the stat buff is stronger than most other races where your cited worgen for example its a 1% and draacthyr is 1.8% almost double the power.
It’s overloaded. Current races you largely get ONE utility racial and stat bonuses / modifiers of some form.
Yeah, I didn’t read anything about it but that’s what I assumed/figured would have to happen.
Hopefully if and when they add more classes to Dracthyr they also do something about their less-than-mid transmog options.
More than likely just rework them into something else crowd control-related; maybe something related to Landslide.
It’s almost like every race has that sort of spread, where no two races are the same but many do overlap in some areas but not others… Hmm…

When a single racial that negates any displacement mechanic or horizontal mechanic is not a “buff”. Insanity.

There’s only one “displacement mechanic” I can think of in the entirety of Amirdrassil. Oh my gosh, it’s sooo~ overpowered… /s

Surely you were comparing races to races in a discussion about racials. Surely.
No current race, besides dracthyr, are limited to one class either. So my guess would be they made racials quite strong (and moddable via talents) to make the race/class combo more appealing to people. If you wanna play evoker you gotta be dracthyr and if you wanna be dracthyr you gotta be evoker, and if you want your mogs, well, hopefully you can live without seeing them during combat.

While were comparing classes to races, rogue has cheat death so lets put that on tauren. It’s an ability in the game too! I think maghar should get permanent pets from hunter too. Nightborne need ice block.
May be they wish to hunt down feathers for that again,lol.
