Why don’t do you PvP?

I used to do mid level pvp pre heirlooms on an old account. Since then, it just stresses me and I like relaxing while playing wow.

If they still had gear sets to collect with pvp vendors I would.

Because a lot of useful utility tools got remove, GCD makes the whole game feel like shiet, class balance are bad

Too much RNG involved for the rewards. I did all the time when there were both honor and conquest merchants.

With the elimination of PVP vendors, you have to do raids and M+ to get any sort of decent gear to be effective. This leaves a damage-dealing gap between players brought on by gear-drop rng, as opposed to everyone having the same PVP gear where a win/loss is determined by a player’s ability to play that class and strats involved.

I get tired of constant losses that could have been preventable if players follow the most basic strats (kill healers, defend bases, etc).

Blizz constantly changing class abilities and talents. Chained attacks I would come up with that were effective at one point would be no longer.

Every moment doing pvp activities is time wasted. Its easily the least productive aspect of wow right now.

getting chain stunned from 100-0

Getting netted and jumped by 12 players isnt pvp anyway

Arenas are rmx every match

There just isnt any reason i should do it

“cannot do that while stunned”

Not always but I see a lot of people in PvP using that as an excuse to be rude to each other.

Was in a BG on my mage and was greeted with “You people in leveling greens should do us all a favor and just /afk now. This is the F2P bracket, not your bracket.”

Was in a BG on this hunter. Our healer was getting focused so they couldn’t do their job. “You piece of trash noob. You suck. Uninstall the game.” along with many other things I cant repeat here without getting a nice vacation and then used the whole “Well I’m right! Look at the scoreboard!” excuse to try and justify it and I see that a LOT in PvP. Way more than I would like to admit, from both sides.

If I wanted to play PvP. I’d play a game that’s about PvP. There’s plenty of balanced competitive games out there.

PvP in WoW is a little minigame that people take way too seriously.

It especially hurts when you play a class that has abilities that breaks certain stuns, only for it to be almost useless because every stun you get hit with is technically not in the description.

“Yeah you can break fears… but this is a horrify so it’s completely different. Sucks to suck.”

The little I played of PvP I really enjoyed, but I came too late into BFA’s cycle and with the corruption running rampant I just cannot be bothered. I’m waiting until Shadowlands to really get stuck in as everything will be fresh.

All of the crowd control stuff was nerfed because of PvP. There are other examples as well. They need to be two seperate systems completely. If you want to PvP there should be a PvP locker that changes out your gear set with a return to the locker restoring your PvE set.

This is about the most troll post I’ve seen today.

The rewards for BGs are absolutely terrible. The only reason I did them was for BOTE and all it did was make me realize how terrible they are.

Arenas I never really did until a couple of weeks ago. I found getting to 1600 to be very unenjoyable because the process of finding arena mates is full of people that don’t know what they are doing.

However, this last week or so I’ve climbed to 2150 ish and have enjoyed it so much more when playing with a partner that knows how to play. So I guess the answer is I didn’t do it much because I didn’t understand it which meant I was never consistently getting better. Now that I get it more, I went 30-12 this week in 2s and am excited to cap again next week.

The reward system is TERRIBLE though, and I think some classes have a little too much CC/stun.

Very RNG with Corruption involved.

That’s because you can’t “lose” in a normal dungeon. Typically toxicity comes from the loss of something due to what x player deems y player did incorrectly.

Generally, I just don’t enjoy PvP in mmos very much. In WoW I may do a BG on occasion, but I don’t focus on it. Part of it I think has to do with not being super competitive, probably why I don’t enjoy the vast majority of PvP games either. I have tried War mode and the like, but it just feels like an annoyance rather than something fun, so I don’t bother with it, it’s that simple.

0 clue confirmed.

It couldn’t be that wow PvP is simply poorly implemented…

Bfa pvp certainly is a complete disaster but it’s pretty simple to take a look at your account activity to notice you basically do nothing ingame.

There’s this odd similarity between the folks that say “hurr wow pvp was always bad play Call of Duty”, you take a look at their accounts and they never do anything ingame.

PvP is so boring ever since Legion.
