Why doesn't the alliance have a goblin cartel?

You gave the horde dwarves. It’s easy-as-heck writing for blizz to give the Alliance goblins.

you do know that the cartels work with both factions

Look like someone not reading their lore.

Because it was decided 15 years ago that the Horde would get goblins from a purely Horde-aligned cartel, and they’re not going to hand them over to the Alliance just because the race was finally the focus of a major patch. The Alliance isn’t owed a Horde race based on its importance to recent events, or the existence of one Alliance-aligned goblin character, who is now dead.

They’re proto-dwarves whose characters have not existed until now, not the existing Ironforge, Dark Iron, or Wildhammer dwarves copied verbatim. No one on the Horde begged for neutral earthen with the persistence of Alliance posters begging for practically everything the Horde has, wants, or will get.

It would not be good writing to pull another cartel out of thin air, or have a currently neutral cartel join the Alliance, just to give the Alliance another Horde race. They aren’t going to have Revilgaz suddenly pledge Blackwater to the Alliance post-Undermine just because both groups are represented by the color blue.

Blizzard: Here Alliance, have a bag of skittles.
Blizzard: Oh, uh. Horde, you can have this piece of Candy Corn from last years Halloween.
Alliance: So can we talk about how Horde got Candy Corn and Alliance did not?

Void goblins incoming?

Ummm… that would be me because I don’t like skittles and love candy corn :flushed:.

Speaking of which, you can keep the goblins… High Elves for the Alliance :candle: !

(For the record, I have a goblin, she is the bees knees and she wouldn’t be caught dead associating with the Alliance for more than killing, torturing and/or swindling them!)

You have Gnomes.

Alright to be fair and even stevens. You can remove the personalities from the ally goblins just like they did with the earthen.

Some people look at the Alliance Goblin cartel and ask, Why?
Other people look at the Alliance Goblin cartel and ask, Why not?

Better question. Did you even want Alliance Goblins before Undermine? The answer is no, probably not.

What does that mean now when you can bring both factions together in instanced groups and guilds since DF prepatch?

Does your family cringe at you as hard as everyone who just read this line cringed?

Give it time, they will re color a goblin and make it a allied race

The Dark Iron Dwarves would be the only race from the Alliance that would enslaved Goblins.

If that were true, I wouldn’t be stuck on this stupid alliance character just to have access to the most disgustingly overpowered racial in the history of the game.

There was Renzik who was a goblin working for the Alliance S-I:7.

Hence lore-wise goblins can join the Alliance. Just the character creation screen does not allow it yet.

The goblins just won their independence, why would they shack up with the Alliance when they can easily just do business with both factions. Only the Bilgewater are canonically Horde.

It’s just a video game, in a fantasy setting where that does happen.
