Why doesn't Sylvanas just KILL Anduin?

Couldn’t she just send a rogue to off him in middle of night? Like Thrall? He himself admitted in the BFS novel that she could kill him with ONE scream

i dont’ think that is in the horde best interest to kill the only one who is actually trying to stop at some point and holding back.

If it were that simple, the war would be over.

Because plot armor.

It’s not just something the Horde has, despite what you may think to the contrary.

Real question is why doesn’t she banshee possess him? Or Jaina?

Anduin has thicker plot armor than shadow the hedgehog.

Because Posession only works on lvl 5 Units. Anduin’s at least lvl 100 and Jaina is a Demi-wanabee.

I’m pretty sure it’s a rule of warfare that you should never kill off an incompetent boob because they might get replaced by somebody with an ounce of sense.

Apparently Rogues are awful are being stealthy. Saurfang was able to track and follow them even while they were invisible :man_shrugging:

I still don’t know how he pulled that off. They’re practically SC2 ghosts and he just spots them without effort?

Unfortunately, no amount of super-ninja-assassin stealth skillz is gonna cover up our ripeness.

She didnt kill him in BtS when she had the chance.

She did try to kill him at Lordaeron, though.

When Nathanos mentions Anduin, he talks about killing and raising his subjects and forcing Anduin to bow before Sylvanas - but he does not mention killing him.

It seems even if the Horde won outright, keeping a living Anduin could be useful for Boris and Natasha - I mean Nathanos and Sylvanas.

Maybe he was replaced by a Dreadlord at some point.

I have been wondering what the “V” on those Forsaken Rogues faces meant. And why Saurfang knows to look for it.

Maybe the V is for Varimathras? Maybe he left a few of his agents among the Forsaken to carry out Dreadlord-type plans in the future.

Did I miss where the V is explained?

Could be v for vengeance given what they originally stood for.

ideas are bullet proof.

Only bulletproof for about 30 seconds of automatic gunfire.

Then why doesn’t she assassinate all the intelligent leaders like Shaw, Tyrande, Danath Trollbane, Malfurion and Greymane!?! Make it easier for the enemy to destroy itself!

Because that would probably be the thing to push Anduin into being more ruthless.

So her only option is to let Anduin expend the Alliance army until it is bled dry?

Would it though?
