Why doesn't Blizzard do anything about bots

I’ve reported these same 6 people for weeks now flying around sholazar and storm peaks. I’ve sent videos. It’s just frustrating because it gets so bad that I have to buy herbs off the auction house when I’m an herbalist. People say Blizzard doesn’t want to lose money which is probably true.

Skip to 1:30 and watch after he gets attacked. Garbage.

BOTs pay subscriptions, that’s why.

That’s the age-old unanswered question.

he does look a little glitched out…

They do ban them all time. But it’s not something that stops happening.

Do police capture criminals? Yes all the time
Does that mean there is no criminal out there ? No they still exist.

But I agree they can do better. As there is always room for improvement.

Because a once a year bot banwave doesn’t do anything. Even when they do ban a bot, the person running it has 20 other accounts READY TO GO. Bots get slapped with a 2 week ban than they’re back, even if they do get perm banned, they’re back on a different account.

Blizz will probably do that after they start selling character boosts. That way they can feast off of banning bots. Bots don’t give a damn since they can make a new account and boost and still make more money than they spent and Blizz just rolls in the profit they make.

Just quoting this for laughs

Wen Skynet?

I mean … I reported a person recently for using extremely derogatory language and the posts are still up and they’re still here.

Meanwhile, I referred to a certain group of players as those fluffy bears with symbols on their chest and got a forum vacation.

You join the call to arms each weekend and you’ll be hard pressed not to have a minimum of three to five DK bots.

Im beginning to lose faith in Blizzard’s ability to monitor their product on multiple fronts.

Botting and account selling is a multi million dollar industry. Blizzard bans them then they just make new bots and farm gold etc then rinse and repeat.

Blizzard has to take the incentive away from the bots. That is gold. Wow token maybe an option. Make gold buying legit and safer for player via wow token. Problem is Blizzard do not care enough to add the wow token to wrath.

why would they do anything? bots give their 15 just like you do. why would they do anything about this. its free money to them.
