Heal more than a swiftmend with all hots? Or a SOTF Regrowth?
Didn’t Blizzard learn that lesson in BfA S1 that making riptide broken isn’t quite the play?

You’re either going up against shamans that have given up Unleash Life to get 20% bigger Riptide initials, or are using Unleash life to hit a 35% bigger Riptide every 15 secs.
EDIT: Also Unleash Life is a solid instant heal by itself.
not a shaman problem more of a hand problem ur druid has small hands
Riptide isn’t just a pvp problem. It’s also a pretty decent sized issue in PvE. Riptide is insane. I can riptide out of a cc on a teammate and hit for like 9800. My druid only gets those kind of numbers on a full HoT SotF regrowth cast. It’s like an exact repeat of the difference between rdruid and rsham in bfa s1.

okay LOL i never realized riptide initial was hitting for that much what the hell??? if it heals more then swiftmend thats is hella broken imbalence considering how swiftmend and riptide works
It is insane fun to play Rsham in 2s right now.
I rotate Unleash Life and Riptide for healing, barely ever have to cast, and get to flame shock lava burst the crap out of people the rest of the time.
Inversely on my Druid I feel like casting a clone and not spamming Regrowth is soft inting LOL.

With all the damage… I don’t want to see rshams nerfed even though they are super good right now… But please Blizzard… Druids and MWs getting shat on right now.
wouldnt maybe be that bad but this is issue is huge because of how garbage our hots are im ilvl 188 and rejuv is 2500 over 15 sec like WHAT??? i mean you really are casting hots so regrowth can hit harder.

With the insane burst and short windows to heal right now, not to mention the increase in PVE difficulty with the new raid, I would rather see underperforming healers buffed instead of a nerf to shaman.
Shaman finally feels like it’s in a good place. Bring MW, Druid, and Pally up to that level.
I really hope something improves with rdruid. My decision for that to be my arena healer this expansion has pretty much single handedly crippled my enjoyment of this expansion so far.

Yeah it’s honestly more that druid and MW healing is just bad vs the others being op. Shaman is getting a 4% nerf to their overall healing tuesday too which will bring it inline with Hpal and Disc. Even though disc is arguably better than shaman with the current meta/gear
It doesn’t hit for that much unless you used unleash life and ascendance before that.

As a rsham main, I’d prefer a playstyle where casted heals does most of the work rather than instants. Riptide should get nerfed and healing wave and surge should get buffed. The only healers that are supposed to keep hp pools stable with instants are rdruids and hpals for a relatively long period of time according to past inherent design.
the way this season is starting is eerily similar to bfa s1
rsham and sub were broken and then subsequently gutted. hopefully we don’t get a repeat of that
