What to interrupt can be learned on the job. Routes cannot be unless you read the above statements which include up to 200 different variations of kill yourself. That is why nobody is going to do it. We can agree to disagree all we want, it doesn’t change the fact this is why everyone is waiting on a tank.

You’d think your mistakes are more obvious too, right? Nope, nothing is more obvious than getting 1shot for your mistake cuz you’re not the tank.
If I wanted to spend my night being yelled at for not doing anything right, I’d go eat dinner with my parents.

Yeah, if you don’t mind making the group struggle. If we’re going that route then the pathing can be learned on the job also.
Pugs are waiting on a tank because the decent tanks are already playing with people and don’t need to sign up for groups.
Use to prot tanl in df for my guild and for keya but i stopped with WW, really enjoying just being a dps atm, once i see a decent shield drop ill prob pick it back up but eh.
But it does… lol. Pug tanks should be able to enjoy the game as well as those playing with guilds and friends.
It harms the very essence of LFG. Now congrats, you have a broken system that struggles to work.

It makes the group struggle yes, but a bad route is worse than letting a spell go off. You are correct that the good tanks are running with people, however it isn’t the reason many don’t queue, it is that you can relax and enjoy what you are doing outside of a pug. If anyone has ever tried tanking they have been told to kill themselves I am sure numerous times. I’m 2317 io and I know routes and fights and I still get that.

Still remember when a BM Monk tank was told this during S4 of SL in Grimrail because of a bad pull.
Can’t exactly say I blame someone for not wanting to put themselves through that.

Good question, try asking the queue timer that, maybe you’ll get your answer. 
Perhaps M+ is a toxic environment especially towards tanks, its why I switched off of tank after hitting max level, hard pass, no thanks! If I wanted to be treated like crap I could dial up an ex or something.

Hi, I’m a fellow tank. Just wanted to point out that you are indeed suppose to use you’re defensives on trash pulls and such and rotate them around. It’s literally designed for tanks to do that.

I still tank and only tank. Maybe it’s cause I don’t have wet toilet paper thin skin.

- I like to take my time and see the dungeon, at least the first time.
- I’m old school and pull in packs, unless the healer oks pulling the whole room
- Once pulling the whole room, DPS dies which gets the healer killed so I have to solo them all and rezz everyone (Druid or Pally, happened on both)
- Get yelled at for not taking the pull from the DPS. Not my job. If you pull them, and cannot handle them, you need to path them to me. Bear is slower than cat and you’re across the room.
- Get yelled at for clearing all the trash. I love gold, and loot, and XP. Been that way since TBC
- Get yelled at for going left instead of right and not following MDT in a M0. I don’t run timed keys, especially now that I have Delves.
- Berated and belittled for not being gemmed/chanted/potions in Heroics. For what? It’s Heroics. I don’t do M+.
- Told to uninstall and KMS cause I stood up for myself. My guild doesn’t do that to me, so why would I let some stranger I would probably choke out face to face do it?
- The serenity that comes with Delves. I take my time, AFK if I need to, move at my own speed, and there is no whining, griping, rushing, or pulling unless I am doing it to myself.
Tl;DR - I only tank for myself, and my guild, cause strangers and randos are toxic. Thanks!
