For RP I can offer little advice there is an amazing LF guild mega server you can join.
Our needs are wastely different as im a sweaty gamer word enjoyer but we have the exact same problem these days.
Google wow recruitment discord. Should be the firdt results. Can’t link it directly as its considered advertising but it has a rp section

That doesn’t seem to be the case, Auralette. It looks like you have been reported multiple times over several weeks (I can only see those going back to early December), which have not resulted in any action.
You have a few instances of spamming your guild advertisement in multiple channels, including Trade, which really isn’t an appropriate channel for that. Yes, it does seem that some folks report just because of the LGBT+ label, which is not surprising but always disappointing… That said, I think what pushed it over the edge is maybe adding a political statement to your guild advertisement.
As mentioned, the penalty duration has more to do with history on the account. While you do have a series of penalties here, in November and May of last year, the duration you have now is pretty standard.
It looks like you have an appeal in. It will be reviewed as soon as it can be.
Edit: Just to follow up. I looked over all of the reports, specifically the verified complaints and it seems you were reported for using inappropriate language. Which I can see used yesterday.

Have you tried the subreddit /r/wowguilds for recruitment? I have had so many great people come from reddit recruitment.

So it’s essentially an accumulation of “spam” reports over a few weeks? I really did think I was doing it in a way that wasn’t spammy, but it seems I was wrong and had a misunderstanding of how things are constituted as spam and how they’re not. This has just been a big wake-up call to just not utilize in-game chat channels for guild advertisements and instead rely on the methods listed here (Discord, Reddit, etc).
Thank you for taking the time to look at this for me, it does reaffirm that I will just be removing myself from the public channels period from now on, I really can’t risk another penalty on top of this.
Just curious here. How do you know that’s why those players reported? Did they put that reason in the box?
Just for the sake of trying to help boil it down to the main issue here for you to learn from.

You are asking an absurdly difficult question for someone in customer service to answer.
In short and as diplomatically as possible… politics even things people don’t want to consider as political draws negative attention.
Edit : I didn’t know you could disclose the reasons of reports. That and I didn’t think people would write the reason as that.

Well, at least this makes me feel better about deciding to just remove myself from the public channels altogether. Thank you for this followup, it’s easier to just not interact with them at all than it is to risk 10-15 days a pop over something like this.

Not usually the Trade channel, which is one that was used several times here.
It is not so difficult a question, Primalmatter, I think I can handle it. Sadly, you are correct. There are some who think simply existing is “political”.
