Ranking wasnât bugged. It was changed in August 2023 for the longevity of Classic WoW servers.
I didnât say MC or Raid Lockouts were bugged. Just that there are many ways you can become locked to an instance. If ANY player in the raid pulled a boss, even if it got reset (such as a hunter FD), you would be locked to the instance.
When it comes to raid lockouts itâs simple best to not do Trash Farm groups as there is a high chance you can be locked to the instance.

and people would of still gotten rank just very few
and i was simply saying they can fix ranking but cant put this fix in and you said theres nothing to fix
oviously there is if later on they change it
Then report it as a bug.
complaining in CS will do nothing, since CS doesnât take bug reports.

Ranking and Raid Lockouts are two entirely different things.
Ranking was changed because it needed to be change as the player numbers would have made it impossible to hit Rank 14 because not enough people would be doing PvP. It was completely overhauled to no longer have decay or deranking.
Raid Lockouts arenât an issue. There are many ways to lock yourself to a raid. It is best to not enter a raid unless itâs with your guild group or you risk yourself being locked out because of what other players do inside that instance.

so why do they change it later on then ?
At this point, weâve already explained how the lockout system works in WoW Classic several times. Iâve cited official sources and this is how it has always worked in the original release of the game, later changing it to flexible boss-based lockouts or loot-based lockouts in modern versions.
If you feel it needs changed, then youâll need to post in the Classic General Discussion forum since Customer Support does not make changes to the game nor is Customer Support liaison to the development teams. However, as for how it works right now, the answer isnât going to change. Thereâs really nothing else to clarify.

Lockouts? they didnât change on the hardest difficulty.
Mythic Liberation of Undermine uses the same instance ID lockout system as Molten Core.

They changed the Ranking system in August 2023 because it would be 100% impossible to hit rank 14 with the dwindling amount of people playing PvP. It had to change or the system wouldnât function.
Raid Lockouts changed in WoD because raids changed to flex raids with exception to Mythic raids which are set to 20 players. With Flex Raids being scaled from 10 to 30 players they changed the lockout system to a loot lockout where you canât receive loot if you already killed that boss.
Also having players who already killed the boss you are currently on in your raid group decreases the amount of loot that drops for that boss.
The loot lockout system is incompatible with Classic.
