None of us actually know. But honestly, currently and in this timeline, numbers is a bad argument. In Game numbers =/= Canon Numbers.
As a nelf player, I am already not happy with human potential.
You just haven’t experienced it yet for yourself. Once you do, you’ll be for it like every other elf race
What is this anti’s talk? Caring about the integrity of the lore and races has nothing to do with being anti anything. It’s also kinda unfair to wade into something calling others dishonest and using derailing tactics. No wonder the forums are tired of this.
It’s true that none of us know what’s going to happen in the future. But it doesn’t change the fact that you want high elves now, not after they rebuild.
I understand you being passionate about this, but I simply don’t agree. Having a few flavor NPC’s show up along with a bit of Vareesa doesn’t constitute story development. I took a long break from WoW, I can still recognize Vareesa because Blizzard didn’t even bother to give her a new model for crying out loud.
Which one is it? High elves are viable and sustainable now? Or will they be sustainable in a thousand years if they manage to actually have children and not die off? You cannot have both arguments.
They are sustainable enough now to have an army, which void elves prove is all you need. In time their numbers would grow and they would be a completely separated faction from blood elves. That is how it is.
Can blizz just give these people their high elves? topics like these are being made 24/7 by void elf players yet blizz wont do anything to shut em up.
veressa was a goon doing jainas dirty work. this arc was really jainas story and fleshing her out to get more active with the alliance where she had been previously sidelined most of WoW. while veressa simply bears responsibility for doing what she was told to do, jaina was the primary instigator of that incident
dude everyone knows what youre doing here. havin fun?
An army by WoW’s standards doesn’t matter. Any race can field numbers for an army regardless of circumstance.
How many “armies” do we destroy in a simple quest where we throw things from the sky? Having a disposal set of NPC fighters that are barely canon doesn’t mean development.
So? She is the leader of the silver covenant. Jaina is for the alliance. if their leader works with an alliance representative to stage a coup to claim Dalaran solely for the alliance… then I dunno. Sounds like the Silver Covenant is for the alliance to me and you’re trying really hard to dig out of it.
Again, if you hate the idea of high elves then you hate the idea of void elves. They have less numbers than high elves and are even less sustainable than them. They will go crazy with the void, and they are probably rendered infertile. Even if they could have kids, they’d likely end up as monstrosities and not void elves.
Nope, I’d forgive Sylvanas for Teldrassil before I’d forgive Anduin for signing a treaty with the horde right after the events of bfa.
I’m not a huge fan of void elves either, but I’m not a fan of Alliance races in general. I tolerate them more because they’re different and showcase Blizzard at least attempting to do something different.
Something that was overturned slightly and a whole can of worms opened because these forums were constantly filled with spammy threads.
Well. That is your take. But hey, because void elves exist, I have a leg to stand on here. Blizzard has already shown numbers do not matter, sustainability does not matter. It better helps my position than it helps yours anyways. So arguing with me… you just have no real grounds for it. Blizz has proven you wrong.
Vereesa also went running to help the blood elves against the Amani as well.
Amani is a shared enemy. So it makes sense. But the amani are not the alliance. The silver covenant never turned against them. But they did fight the horde.
before the purge jaina was neutral(she helped the horde kill her father btw), she wasnt out there fighting the horde. i think her first appearance in WoW was trying to cool things between garrosh and varian in that ulduar cinematic
also why would any alliance aligned faction think this ever?
lmao
If your leg to stand on is that the existence of a non-sensical race that can’t reproduce, has no numbers and possibly no future validates the existence of another race that wouldn’t make sense since they’re all Horde… knock yourself out.
Just don’t expect people to not call out the fact that you want the lore bent for your own gains.
Thalassians do not like night elves. There’s always hostility between them. That doesn’t mean they aren’t with the alliance. They put their grievances aside when they need to do so.
Void elf numbers grow every day.
There are blood elves and high elves studying to become void elves.
However when they were introduced there were like what, 50 of them? 200 at a push.
So for once we agree, blizzard has shown that population size is something that can be worked around while making a race playable.
it shouldnt be a surprise to work with night elves in any capacity if what you say about them is true
