So, are Stormwind humans and Kul tiran humans different race? By your(flawed) logic that would be a yes.
The fact of the matter is right now they are neutral. This part is just fact.
Anything beyond that is all hypothetical.
Could they leave dalaran and join the alliance?
Yes
Have they?
No
I’m not sure it’s as cut and dry with the Sunreavers. While the Silver Covenant are drawn from citizens of Dalaran who live in Dalaran and are an extension of the state of Dalaran the Sunreavers are blood elven members of the Kirin Tor which is a distinct entity to Dalaran. As I understand it you can be both a member of the Kirin Tor and a member of your home faction. For example Jaina.
its literally said in the questline for either faction by jaina herself that the sunreavers helping the horde steal the divine bell was a betrayal and violation of the kirin tors neutrality
People want them to join the alliance. They should just do it. At least there’s lore for them to be part of the alliance. That’s good enough for me. Goblins were not part of the horde until Cata, and Kul’tiras was not part of the alliance until BFA. But the lore surrounding them being both horde and alliance leaning set up the way for them to join the respective factions eventually. Void Elves had no real lore to set them up. The biggest rear pull in the universe. Yet they got in as a race.
Silver Covenant is part of the “Alliance Vanguard” .
would commit our order to an Alliance victory!
Spoken like a stalwart Alliance ! Believe me, I understand the sentiment.
Now then, as leader of the Kirin Tor and a faithful part of the Alliance, what would you do about the Sunreavers? True, they are advocates of the Horde. But they have been allies and productive members of the Kirin Tor for over 2000 years. This city is their home. Would you expel them?
Gossip Yes. Horde is Horde.
<Jaina’s eyes grow sad.>
So… you would purge the city? Cast the Sunreavers from their homes? The very same Sunreavers who helped humans discover magic in the first place?
You and I are obviously very different. I suppose I see my role - and the mission of the Kirin Tor a little differently. My mind is set. Would you like to hear what I think?
Gossip What do you think?
Gossip Not if they renounced the Horde.
<Jaina brushes her hair from her eyes, deep in thought.>
You’re so passionate for your cause and clear in your convictions. Believe me when I say that the Sunreavers are the same. The Horde is their family.
Not all of them support Garrosh. But they’re not about to abandon their own people… I couldn’t ask them to do so without tearing the Kirin Tor apart.
The Kirin Tor is sacred to me. We need to stay united.
Gossip Are you sure?
Clearly you can be both “neutral” while still remaining a member of your respective faction.
The members of the kirin Tor can have their own likes and dislikes, so members can pick sides on these issues. They just can’t break neutrality to fight for one side.
With jaina, she would hang around with the alliance but she never actively took part in the conflict with the horde.
At the start of legion when the horde was allowed back into dalaran jaina left the kirin Tor.
Shes been fighting with the alliance since, but that’s since she left behind her neutrality
dude move on. the kirin tor was actively helping both factions in northrend
And the Silver Covenant was actively hostile to the Horde. I suggest going to Crystal Song and see what happens if you get near their base.
The SC is affiliated with the Alliance. Vareesa Windrunner, is still the leader of the SC, and still alligns with the Alliance.
the only time the kirintor/dalaran have been hostile to the horde was when the purge happened
The negative stuff people like to say about our Discord is unreal and all of it is untrue, I mean they will say we sit talking about this or that but we don’t because in the last few days it has just been general chatting, weather chatting, gaming chatting about the upcoming xpac, chatting about other games, etc. it’s like so what’s so bad about a group of friends being well friends.
Again, not true, their base in Crystal Song is flag hostile to Horde. So if you get near them they will attack you. In fact, if not for the whole debacle of putting Dalaran in the middle of a damn zone and causing infinite lag, Crystal Song was suppose to be a zone where both Sunreaver/SC duke it out.
Heck, the SC are the ones opening portals for the Alliance to fight the Horde.
Your discord is very stupid. Making a whole discord dedicated to not wanting high elves. You’re a real piece of work. I’m glad people clown on you over it. And I’m glad High Elves have been getting your options slowly but surely. Every time you come in and say we shouldn’t get something, we get it.
There was also theramore.
But that was only to defend the city. Nothing more.
And that was basically after half a book of jaina trying to convince them that inaction was the same as taking a side in this issue.
Very mature.
im not arguing about gameplay mechanics. dalaran was not hostile to the horde in wrath nor is it currently
And the Silver Covenant, while having ties to Dalaran, are independent of them and can do as they please, as long as it is outside Dalaran proper. So saying Dalaran is neutral is meaningless.
Last time I checked, I wasn’t saying you shouldn’t get things I was saying I want other things, I’m sorry you don’t like the whole void aspect of Void Elves and I do because they are what they are and that entitles people like me to want more of that, you can continue to play dress up if you want but that doesn’t entitle you to trash talk a Discord that has moved past that already. Grow up.
Because Dalaran is the Kirin Tor, not the Silver Covenant or the Sunreavers.
