You can make your character 80% naked and even have nothing on. People seem to enjoy that a lot more to and yet you remove it thinking it will, 1. solve your harassment problem 2. make the game better. LMFAOOOOOOO
yet people are having more fun playing FF with half naked bosses and NPC. And i would wager that more people would support this stuff. the troll threads you see right now about “remove xx, it offends me” are only like 4 people who actually think that. not MOST.
Also best part is, they have pants that literally make your butt BIGGER in game.
BUT DO NOT WORRY GUYS, blizzard removed the whistling so the woman should feel more safe now at work! THANK GOD.
(Since they are removing so much stuff, i’m waiting for them to lock down goldshire community)

Because they are made in different countries. America has huge no-no’s when it comes to that kind of thing, and when you do use it, you gotta use it sparingly because the ratings company will rate your game M or R making it harder to sell. Japan thinks differently, they are not so restrictive and ashamed of showing skin.
It’s amazing as is that we got “naked transmogging” for all but pants, while FFXIV allows for removal of pants too(of course the base wear is still covering and not very sexual). Too much politics and drama constantly changing America towards a safe space over all that one day don’t be surprised if they ban bikinis and make you wear full-on bathing suits at beaches.

They didn’t remove whistle they just changed how it sounds…

Yeah i know. Regardless it is a asinine decision that no one wanted and will help no one.

OK sure but is it worth getting that upset over?
Nothing was really lost by them changing the sound either. If that’s what they wanted to do then who cares, it’s their game.

Oh trust me i know that being a mega weeb myself. However don’t forget the part that although they are different countries, people from this country are having fun playing it. NOT JUST Japanese.
Because FFXIV is leaps and bounds better than WoW at this point (and i mean AT THIS POINT, WoW in its prime would actually make me have to stop to think on which is better, WoW has been a shadow of its former self for years now and FFXIV is only getting better), objective truth.

Japanese are really into h-word and p-word.

I’m pretty sure they haven’t removed anything remotely close to half-naked transmog, and if anything they’ve expanded the number of ways you can make your character half-naked in recent years, like by adding the option to hide your chest armor.
I started playing my orc shaman and found some pants that hang so low that you can see a bit of my character’s butt, and if I ride the right kind of mount, he looks almost entirely naked when viewed from behind.

yes? since it should not have been changed like I said and this will just add up with all the others one. Then you’ll have a giant list of things that no one wanted.
Also it is there game, so when they make it garbage like it has been recently, they can just use the excuse “it is our game”?
And as per usual, that attitude is foisted on the rest of the world regardless. If only shooting deaths were treated a seriously as bare skin. Blizzard can’t even accomodate metric measurement.

What, exactly, have Blizzard removed Transmog wise? Do tell.
Not removed but they don’t have any really, maybe just really old stuff. They don’t make anymore. What is the most recent one they made? The void elf one. I have no idea how the hell that got through the final approval department TBH.

In Legion they added a ton of skimpy transmog, much of it designed for demon hunters but also usable by other classes in many cases, such as the leather chest armor that drops from Trilliax. WoD also had the sets that you could get from the war mill, the recolored druid tier chest from HFC, etc.
In BFA most of the Zandalari-themed stuff was a bit skimpy. There are some plate pants that drop from a few dungeons (I got mine from The Motherlode) that hang really low (not as low as the Skyfire Greaves, but close), and if you try to wear them with any chest armor while hiding your belt, some of your character’s midriff will be visible.
do you wanna see naked gnomes?

I’m glad WoW is a bit more conservative when it comes to this stuff.

uh you know that japan is extremely conservative right?
