So far,
- change server
-change guilds
-take a break and try again
-don’t play with min/maxers mentality
-hit 60 and then see what it’s like
anything else?
I’m waiting for rested xp to lvl again… only 4 lvls to go. Playing AH only for now.

No I meant the company that thought 3 servers would hold the classic pop. The company that gave free transfers that only alliance took which created the cluster that was p2. Blizzard could’ve locked faction side creation at the start but there was minimal oversight.
Yeah, that was never going to happen. Same with faction queues. You basically would have these forums full of people yelling how Blizzard isn’t letting them play the character they want to play, even though they paid their sub just like everyone else, and cries about how they just want to play with their friends and so on.
yeah, that would have gone over super well…
My grandpa contadicts this claim. That old fart had fun at an accelerating rate, nearly right up until he kicked the bucket. If anything he became more fun when he got super old; more funny at least.
Simple answer is: because it IS less fun, there is simply zero challenge left in the game anymore, at least not in PVE, if you have proper consumes and minmax the vanilla raids are ridiculously easy. I laugh at all these guilds shooting for “world firsts”. SORRY, the world firsts already happened - 14/15 years ago…
They made subtle and not-so-subtle changes to the game to make it better align with the current retail concept that grindy is good, grindier is better, and grindiest is best of all.
weapons-grade irony
Wrong.
If they had announced before the first player rolled a character that the playing population would be balanced within pre-determined ratios; and if they warned everyone rolling when this was likely that there would probably be wait times to login. With full disclosure people would have accepted it.
In fact, right at the start horde players could have gotten a suggestion that they also roll a character of the opposite faction so they would still be able to play when there were faction queuetimes.
Hint: it’s the players
Because classic is not vanilla.
I’ve been saying this for almost a year now.
The experienced you got was a vanilla experience. You’re playing retail without the content that allows the game to make sense.
Because you’re Horde! Horde are favored heavily in Classic.
Flight Points
Zeppelins
More low level Dungeons in Horde territory
Better racial’s
Higher level guards in low level towns
Higher population to play and progress with
Well i sure as hell ain’t having any fun in AV i’ll admit that.
Hahahaha! Oh, wait. You’re serious? Let me laugh harder. HAHAHAHAHA!
Oh, god, I needed that bit of naive comedy for the start of a Wednesday morning. But seriously, have you EVER actually worked with customers before? Anyone who has EVER worked in Retail or Food Service will tell you that you are utterly full of crap. People argue the prices at McDonald’s when they’re placed on the sign for everyone to see! People argue that, despite a rule being posted, that it shouldn’t apply to them. People argue about EVERYTHING.
WoW is not a MOBA or FPS. It isn’t designed to be, and trying to force it into static populations, regardless of the intentions, is utterly doomed to failure. Because, at the end of the day, people want to play with their friends. Which means Billy will kick up a storm because Matt and Greg got to be Horde on this server, but the evil overlords at Blizzard won’t let him play with his friends because not enough people want to be Alliance.
WoW is a community-driven MMORPG with PvP elements tacked on. Trying to force a community to do one thing or the other would go over just as well as Island Expeditions.
Because they released it as 1.12, which made everything generally easier to do since people had access to items that were not present through various steps of vanilla. So, everyone rips through everything, a lot of people just raid log, etc., classic does not have the feel of vanilla.
Forced gaming is never fun. Relax and just enjoy the game.
This isn’t vanilla. Don’t treat it as such.
For those who think pvp is a large part of the game. take the pve BIS gear out of Pvp content and see how fast the bg’s die lol
Humanity always has its outliers. Good for your grandpa!
The community was better too (not to mention the people lovingly running Nost). I don’t know why we’re blaming pservers for the retail zoomer mentality.
I play classic but I do prefer raiding in retail. Classic is just easy mode. I mean get real most have a 1 to 2 button rotation. Most don’t have to worry about weaving procs in the rotation. Real skill there. Most boss fights you are seldom forced to move. just sit there and spam that one button. Sorry snowfalkes what you love is easy mode.
